Yeah. I’d been assuming it would be something like an ab strain or contusion, but this is obviously more severe. Wondering what it could be, ruptured spleen? Or a torn ab or maybe a hernia requiring surgical repair? Will be interested to see if anything comes out about the nature of the injury, but I assume HIPAA will restrict information release.

I believe he would have to miss two playoff games in addition to the two remaining regular season games.

So he would have to miss the wildcard round and the divisional round if we don’t get the bye, or the divisional round and the AFCCG if we get the #1 seed.

Seems a good bet that either Jiles or Webb will take his slot. Interesting choice to see which one gets the call. My money is on Jiles, because of his height.

Ruptured spleen is not something I think can be managed without some time in a hospital.

Also, HIPAA only prevents certain people (e.g., doctors) from making disclosures without permission. Hollins, for example, can tell anyone he wants.

Mack has been such a clutch player in certain spots. He catches passes no one else does on the roster. I don’t love losing that for these playoff matchups.
