Bills outplayed the Pats in the second half, in part because the Pats went conservative on both sides of the ball. It felt like they never adjusted in the second half. Its a 60 minute game and it’s like we weren’t quite there.

What exactly does Buffalo do at halftime to play so much better in the second half in many of their games? Is Joe Brady so great? Are they just physically better? It’s all a little sus.

Allen > Drake right now. That’s gonna change.

The officiating was as bad as I’ve seen in a Pats game in a long time. Still. . .

Ah, 10 in a row. Still a fantastic achievement. Now let’s regroup and beat the Ravens.
The Bills didn't get a Flag till the end of the 3rd qtr, which was offset. I saw MANY penalties not called on them. How many calls on Pats. ?
Including the ones that were very ticky tacky. I hate blaming the refs, but geez. it helped the Bills a lot

Did you watch Maye throw the ball 20 yards down the field on 3rd down to literally nobody?

That happened. That was a crazy decision.

No one said other players didn't make mistakes.

Your MVP QB with the game on the line can't be throwing away a down like that.
I can't disagree with this.
If you're the MVP in 2025, you can't have a final series like that. The drop from Henry was brutal, but he had time and options.

Many think we are all set there...I doubt that after Today though.

If we accept that the refs are going to just influence the games then there is no point in watching.

Literally no point.
It's been this way since 2020 at least.

FWIW, the CBS analysts just said "Not a bad loss for New England."

Maye had time to throw on a lot of dropbacks but couldn't decipher the Bills zone.

Meanwhile Allen finds wide open guys down the middle against our zone.
So what exactly are you trying to say? 2 year QB vs an NFL vet and MVP. Maybe you should reset your expectations, Maye kept this team in it. The defense and ST did not.

That's out the window. Stafford has it locked up.

That's out the window at 4:22pm

At the time Maye had a chance to show his worth and all he came up with was a brain dead decision with the game on the line.

He should of picked the ****ing ball up and ran on both 3rd and 4th down.

He's not been using his legs for months and it's clear to me that is a active decision coming down from practice.

I like our chances in a rematch with the season on the line.

Right now after that 2nd half it looks like the Pats would have a tough time stopping Josh Allen in a playoff game as presently constructed

That's why winning the division and giving yourself an opportunity for the game to never have to happen is crucial.

The Bills are bad on defense, they're no lock on the road lets make sure we send them there.

I hear you AC... but even so..JOSH ALLEN is the reason we lost..
He's still got it. His demise (from the media) was greatly exaggerated.

I still think it's unlikely he wins a SB this year. A defense is going to come along and contain him. All the while his defense gets shredded.

Disgusting game.

My son, one of those sports betting types, said before the game that the money line was so obviously designed to get money on the Pats, that a crooked game by the refs was assured. It was ****ing gross. I find myself again wondering how much time to invest in this league.

On the football side of things, a few truisms do emerge. We are still a rebuilding team at the end of the day, Maye is a second year quarterback, and despite all this, the Super Bowl is still in play.

It is what it is...

The one thing I saw on the replays is everyone was deep. There was no one in the middle of the field for a 10 yarder. The Bills dropped people way back and we didn't hit them with 8-10 yarders.

We've seen Maye throw to covered receivers and he throws them open. But he wasn't pulling the trigger today which tells me he wasn't comfortable with what the Bills was showing.

Your offense scored 31 points.

That's elite. Maye lead it.
Mayes line is 2 rushing TDs (hello Cam Newton circa 2020) 0 passing TDs 1 INT. I want my QB to throw TDs, kinda like Allen did today. He didn't, and don't sell me that Allens weapons are better than what Maye has, that just isn't true.

Especially 3rd down, he could have walked for 20 yards.

We had our chance at the end of the game and came up small. That has to change. Henderson is awesome but his pass protection still needs work.

Our defense had a poor showing. Some of our coverage choices are just confusing.

Kickoff coverage is the true scapegoat. With proper coverage we could've kicked them when they were down and put this game out of reach for them. I don't know who #45 is but I noticed him in a negative way on two of their big returns.
