It shouldn't be a track meet. The Pats D is much better than the Bengals D. Thats just facts. Bengals D is a sieve.

We play man we lock up Bengals wrs.. play zone and it's a long day.. Flacco is a smart veteran that will eat a zone defense up.

I don't think ANY of the remaining games will be a cakewalk. With just six to go, opponents will be motivated by playoff position, next year's contract, or both. Cincy, for instance, can move the ball despite Flacco having an off day today and N.E. missing Milton Williams is troubling. This could be a track meet.

However from a strictly offensive standpoint Cincinnati presents the biggest challenge.

I expect us to take a page from Pitt's D playbook and dial up more zone blitzes like they did.

I expect us to take a page from Pitt's D playbook and dial up more zone blitzes like they did.

That would be great it! Just don't be in zone coverage when we do it.. I will keep saying this.. it doesn't matter who a QB is.. if you give him Zones to throw in he will make plays..no matter who your CBs are.

If Chase is suspended (how can he not be unless the video was doctored) it takes away the biggest reason the offense can be so good. 1st in receptions, 2nd in yards, 3rd in catch %. Chase also opens up Higgins a bit. 79 receptions and the next guy on the team is at 39. Remember that Drake London went off on the Pats.

Bengals defense is bad, and they can only win by putting up a ton of points on offense. Not having Chase will make that really, really tough for them.

Both London and egbuka had a day.. I've accepted that the defense is what it is. They play zone to make up for the LBs in coverage. You always want a balanced team. And for those posters who are overly confident we sweep Buffalo.. yesterday's game against the bucs reminder Josh Allen is still Josh Allen..

He fits the Steelers D but he’s mostly a box safety, which usually doesn’t fit the Pats defensive scheme.

On this play he’s in zone in the middle of the field and Flacco probably didn’t see him or just didn’t loft the ball enough to the receiver five yards behind Dugger.

That sounds about right. Pretty much Dugger was just in the middle of the field and took advantage.

Whom we get back and whom we do not will be big factor. The health of the Bengals likewise makes it a little hard to predict. The most interesting possiibility is that we get few offensive players back, and the Bangles (big Susanna Hoffs fan here) get Burrow back, so that Drake can win a legit (No,"Means nothing; Burrow didn't play" nonsense.) in a rock 'em sock sock 'em blowout. That'd be fun.

Most likely, of course, it'll be another 27-24 grinder, and I wouldn't co,mplain about that either. Prior to this year, after all, it has been several years since we were in a position to win those sorts of games, which is what makes Big Boy teams Big Boy teams.

Will their hands be that full if Chase is out?

Miami whipped Buffalo. We can all forecast wins but Vrabel's message to them every week is the right one, take any team lightly and you will probably lose. These Patriots know how fine that line is, and that's kept them focused all season, Chase or not they need to play them like they are the defending champs.

Buffalo is a common opponent being they are also a division opponent. They will play hard of course and they have a MVP at QB as well.
