Because I am a hating ass mf, I was browsing the Bills forum while watching the game last night. I found myself with tears in my eyes. The complaints about favorable penalties, the coping about the easy schedule, lamenting that Maye just gets easy wide open passes all games. It brought me literal tears of joy, reminding me of the good old days of the Brady/BB era. The exact same things they used to say to excuse away their greatness is what they're saying now. Here's to another 20 year run and 6 more easy Super Bowls. I'll take a couple cheating scandals too while I'm at it. I read and chuckled as well.
The best was the one guy *****ing that the Pats get all breaks cause the Jets punt was bouncing out of bounds and then straightened out and went into the end zone for a touchback "OF COURSE".

I've had a 2 Bills Drive tab open on my browser since the Patriots went in there and beat them.

It's an impressive amount of copium. So many don't realize their window's been closed since the end of last season.

I've been reading along for a few weeks.
So far I've heard:
Let's see how they do against us
Let's see how they do against Cleveland's D
Let's see how they do against ATL's top pass D
Let's see how they do against TB
...........
These are usually from the same few posters.
Every time the Pats pass test, they move the bar.
Just today I read "they will regress, their skilled guys are old and will wear down.....then a few posts later, Henderson is a rookie and young guys and will wear down.

It's a good comical read.

Well according to them, we didn't beat them the first time.
They beat themselves with some help from the refs and they are going to "eviscerate" us in the rematch.
It's truly pathetic.

McDermott is the white Mike Tomlin.

Tomlin is supposedly some defensive guru and he absolutely mismanaged and wasted Bens career. McDermott is also rumored to be some defensive mastermind and he is also wasting Josh Allens best years. For 5 years the Bills have ruled the AFCE and just like Tomlin, McDermott has figured out a way to lose in the post season 6 years in succession.

But I must ask, why does it have to be the "evil" empire? Why can't it be noble and righteous? As in, the natural order restored. That tired old "villain" shtick kind of fit the BB regime but doesn't resonate with this new bunch, IMO.
