I've been asking this for years and I bring it up in game day threads including my first post tonight. The Steelers on opening night against the Pats in 2015 was the first team I saw doing this nonsense where the G stands up, twists his body to communicate with the QB and assisting the C pre snap. I'm seeing many O-lines getting out of their stance pre snap to communicate with each other. It's bush league and has taken crowd noise out of the game. How is the Philly guard standing up and then getting down an instant before the snap legal? I thought the offense, other than the one guy in motion, had to be set for at least a second?
