I find it interesting that two schemes so completely different can be successful. As a football fan I like to watch the way the Colts swarm to the ball and almost always make their tackles. The Pats defense is about wearing the other team out, big, strong, powerful.
Home field advantage is huge, the northeast weather favors the Patriots style of defense, just as a dome helps the smaller faster team.
I fully expect a Pats - NE AFC Championship, two excellent offenses, two excellent defenses, HOF coaches, HOF QBs, Perfect Season, etc., I can't wait.
Both teams will likely score 25+, the defense that slows down the opponent will win.
