Dugger probably out.

Go watch some DIllon Gabriel tape from this year. He makes Cam Ward look like Dan Marino.
Rattler was dicing us up.. the following week Rattler goes 6-13.. it's a coverage/scheme issue. Kurh and the defensive coaching staff eluded to such.. Vrabel said to he wants to affect the QB more... I'm strictly referring to the start of games..

Again, go watch some Dillon Gabriel tape.

Oh I'm not siting here implying we should fear... Gabriel.. it's more about US than anyone.. if gonzo and Davis don't have late nights at the foxy lady they should be ready to go..

Looking at the schedule, this has 2001 written all over it. The only teams the Pats face with good to elite QB's are Baker Mayfield, Josh Allen and possibly Lamar Jackson who will have given up on the season. I think Tua sits week 18. Wow!

The rest of the schedule is 1st and 2nd year QB's and Jags. The road to the #1 seed continues Sunday.

And here's the uniform check...

Don't do this too me rain...

what the **** is this??

The Browns mascot. Brownie the Elf has been associated with the Cleveland Browns for over 78 years, first appearing as the team's mascot in a 1946 advertisement before their first game.

Miami- 2 of the TDs were from inside the 5 yard line on drives started on Miami's side of the field. 1 of those drives they started at the Miami 2.
The NFL should take the TDs away.
Minnesota- was his lone 100 yard game
Sony Henderson has 153 yards all season.
Detroit- 81 yards on 21 carries isn't running wild
Approximately 4 YAC is great.
Baltimore- 10 carries 61 yards. 3 carries for 45 yards in the 4th quarter garbage time down 3+ scores, first 3 quarters- 7 carries, 16 yards, 2.2 ypc
So, Judkins gained more YAC when the Ravens defense was tired?
I'm not saying he's **** or anything or that he won't have a good game, i'm just saying he hasn't really been "running wild", someone like Rico Dowdle those 2 weeks was someone running wild.
Judkins is on pace for 1000 yards and 10 TDs.

Id like a mediocre RB like him in a NE uniform.

Yeah, there's way too much bad AI "art" shared on this board. I got a little nauseated by one in the Jets Suck thread where each person seemed to have about 2.71 arms.

Huh? Show me.

Lots of people in here seem to be making ready made excuses if the Pats lose Sunday - "Cleveland's defense is great"....are we talking the ****ing 85 Bears here? they're a 2 win team and winless on the road with a rookie QB. The Pats defense has given up fewer points. Cleveland gave up 21 points to Carson Wentz. If the Pats lose it will be because they lost the game, not because Cleveland won and is some up and coming version of the greatest defense in history. You lose to a 2-5 team at home, a team with 0 Ws away from home, it's back to the drawing board because you just took 5 major steps back.

My only real hesitation in this game is that the Pats are kind of due for a let down... If the Pats win 5 in a row this year they will be the first team to do it (or tie as the first team to do it this year). No one has been particularly consistent. Why should the Patriots be? Also Maye has been monstrous for four weeks. He is due for a bit of a let down. The Browns have the kind of D capable of turning a game into a rock fight and stealing one. So i consider them to have upset potential. All they need are a few defensive break downs by us for some easy points or a defensive score and we may find ourselves right up against it.

I have and will always put heavy weight into the very unscientific due factor. Pats are kind of due to lose. They are good, but not so good they shouldn't slip now and then even vs bad teams. My only hesitation to go against the 'due factor' this week is it would make the Pats 1-3 at home. Obviously teams end up having worse home and road records every year. But it would be quite the split to start the year... 1-3 at home and 4-0 on the road. Does that mean it won't happen? I have no idea.

It's possible for Maye and the offense to have a "letdown" and New England still wins the game. Your post seems to conjure pessimism that isn't warranted.

I've always been annoyed by the name "Brownie the Elf." I mean, is he a brownie or isn't he? Would you name a Baltimore mascot "Raven the Crow"? Or Minnesota's "Viking the Visigoth"?

Anyway...the weather seems to be cooperating. Current gametime forecast is 52 and partly sunny with normal wind--nothing to slow down offenses, which should favor New England.

I can't take the blame for "Brownie the Elf," that lies with whoever back in 1946. Maybe they figured not enough people knew what a brownie is.

What the hell is a brownie? The food?
