Pats need to switch things up and have Henderson be the starter with Rham rotating in like he did when Harris was the starter. Rham has been awful ever since he took over for Harris. Speaking of Harris, he was an extremely underrated RB in NE and would've been talked about more if it weren't for nagging injuries. He was a very decisive runner who racked up TD's.Rham played a lot better Sunday night after he was rotated back into the game. The days of him being a starter should be over.

For Henderson to become the primary back he's going to have to bring his blocking game, considered a strength pre-draft, up to an NFL level.

You play how you practice.
You need reps.
Drop what youre doin' and get in that Lazy-Boy NOW!
First, warm--ups: Crack open that beer and I wanna see you do curls with it. Let's go!
Next, you need vocal reps. Turn the TV to something you hate and start yelling at it,
Loud! No louder!!! I can't heeeeeaaarrr you!
Work on your timing: piss breaks only during commercials.
Now this last part of practice is ONLY for GDT experienced veteran whiners. You're obviously not one so you get to sit this part out. For the whining vets:
Peel some onions(even though you don't have any) and start crying your eyes out!! Cmon shed those f'n tears, maggot!
Now start whining. No on 2nd thought, youre already an expert whiner. No need to waste reps. You're ready to go. Just finish with your favorite chant " Woe is me! Woe is me!"
Alright, I have found a mentor ... will do coach!!

Eyes will be on Stevenson and Jennings.

Stevenson to see if he fumbles again.
Jennings to see if he can help run between the tackles.

It will be interesting to see what Truman Jones does. He'll need to help hold the edge against Miller and Kamara. Some pressure on the Pass Rush will be a bonus.

With both Gonzalez and Woods questionable, seems like a good sign that they didn’t add a CB.

Also funny that they’re leaving the roster spot open again.

Edit: As Lazar pointed out, also encouraging that Gonzalez, Woods, and Mapu all traveled despite being questionable. No downgrades today.

Wonder if Kamara will be on a snap count. Injured ankles aren’t fun to run and change direction on. First hand knowledge.

I agree. Harris is very underrated, good player. He also brought the "power" element that Stevenson sorely lacks, which made Stevenson a good change-of-pace back for him. Henderson figures to be a good player, but he's not a "power" back any more than Stevenson is. They need a guy who can run into a tackle with force and push for a couple yards.

Maybe Jennings can be that guy, but hard to say. The overall "room" of Stevenson-Gibson-Henderson (just now realized the last names all ended in -son) was probably a top 10 room as far as total talent, but they were not a group that necessarily complemented each other well. So while the loss of Gibson is still a problem, replacing him with a guy more complementary to the styles of the other two may ultimately be an upgrade.

Haha. That’s why I called them the “Sons of RANarchy.”

The Saints also don’t turn the ball over. I think I saw something that said they’ve only given up 3 times all season, but they’re pretty good at causing turnovers. I believe they’re plus 5 in turnover differential (causing 8..) Regardless of their record, we must play mistake free football.

Great point and I agree. I am not hopeful that Jennings is that guy.

Although Chism has been inactive for games, he is already on the 53.
Wanted to say the same thing.

Plus: if they are elevating 2 guys off PS, that means those 2 are guaranteed on the active roster and therefore 2 LESS SPACES available to try and squeeze Chism into the gameday actives.

So, while I have clamored for Chism to be active, I see the chances this week as less, not more.

I think the point was that there have been 2 practice squad elevations for every game this year, so elevating 2 today is the same as the first 5 games. With Gibson on IR we have 52 on the game day roster, so there is 1 less person to make inactive, so Chism is more likely. But we had a 52 man roster previously waiting for Tavai, so I am not sure tomorrow is much different than the previous games.

You are right, if 0 or 1 players were elevated from the practice squad that would make it more likely that Chism would be elevated, but the Pats seem to elevate the max of 2 every game.

The Saints one win this season the Giants turned the ball over five times, if the Pats have zero turnovers they should win by at least ten points.

I dont know why folks think this is not a trap game, it most certainly is. NO gave buffalo a game, they have some talent also, Pats coming off a significant game in buffalo, this is as a real trap game as ever. Hope they take this seriously.

I'm not sure we're good enough to have a trap game.
Winning is still pretty new to this squad, I don't think anyone on the team or on the coaching staff thinks they are a team that can simply go through the motions and win.
