I've asked Steeler fan friends what they thought of Rodgers. All but one of them hated the signing and don't want him in Pittsburgh. Surprised me.

Same here lol I have that one random weirdo who was excited to get him.

I'm surprised they feel that way because Rodgers looks like an inbred Uncle-Dad.

Pitt has decent talent spread all around the roster. Need to control their TE's and Metcalf. They just got humiliated at home so they'll be fired up and will be a handful. But this is a winnable game between 2 decent teams, and I think we've turned a corner and are gonna start closing out winnable games. It's a big one.

Yeah you could tell they finally got their mojo on later in the game. They are still learning how to attack with each other as well. It will only get better.
Barmore was a beast throughout the game. Williams was good too, but you could tell the humidity was getting to him, he was subbing out quite a bit. Barmore barely left the field.

Get ready to hear about Tomlin never having a losing season.
And not having a playoff win since 2016!
He is a horrible gameday coach, always has been.
I have no idea how he’s duped everyone. NFL analysts/former players gush over him, I truly don’t understand it.
Seems like a good dude, his pressers are funny and I’m sure he’s a great role model, but I’ve never thought he was good at “coaching”.
I have a couple hardcore Steelers friends, and they loathe him and have been saying he should be fired going back at least 5 years.

Barmore is in the conversation for best player on the team, and it’s not a long list.

Home field advantage isn’t what it used to be in the NFL, generally speaking. The parity they want is getting closer to reality.

In this game the Steelers are 1.5 point favorites. That’s what they think. If CB1 comes back then it’s not going to be so easy on Rodgers, even with limited snaps.
I think it's the lack of the overall quality and the turnover has gotten out of control. It seems like teams are doing what LeBron wants to do with the Lakers and clean house every year.

The 2022-current Chiefs teams would be lucky to make the playoffs if they time traveled to earlier eras.

We're in a bit of a similar situation as PIT - as far as the first 2 weeks being a complete rollercoaster.
Only in reverse order. Our higher scoring, close game against an emotionally invested opponent on the road just happened, while theirs happened week 1.
They're coming off the letdown of a poor offensive performance and getting beat by a mediocre team, with a QB on his 4th team.
Let's see what the 3rd game brings. I'm not sure how I feel, but it's likely going to be an ugly battle around 20-23

Didn’t know this. Because of course the jets would. Lol

NY would love the whole injury drama queen act. Warrior!

That would be great if the end game was to always be slightly better than mediocre.
Until they commit to drafting a QB, slightly better than mediocre is kind of an accomplishment for them

Steeler fans are living a real life "Groundhogs Day" with the same results and excuses ad nauseum.

Ownership refuses to change.

I knew 15 years ago he was a bad coach, and I'm just a dude on my couch.
I remember we use to spread them out with Brady and just shred them. Game after game, same result.
Tomlin was asked about it and he said "we do what we do, and we aren't going to change". I knew right then and there what kind of coach he was. Refused to change his defense against us despite the poor results.
He hasn't changed. Wasn't a good coach then, isn't a good coach now.
