We're still in this. We can pull out the win. Maye was never gonna win it for us this early in the season, he just can't lose it for us. It's bad timing for failures right now, that's the story. Correct course and they should win.
Drake has been sacked once. This isn't on the o-line. It's on Drake's inability to remain calm in the moment and probably, thinking of all the high throws, on his footwork discipline. The former will likely develop over time; the second is a matter of coaching. Maybe all the necessary focus on his learning this complex scheme has led the coaches to neglect continuing to work on his fundamentals.
But again week 1, maybe there’s no excuse for not being prepared to play, but the rest of the league still looks like they’re not ready for prime time either. I dunno
