Nussmeier is my QB1 in this next draft. He won't go first, but he should. He's a pro. Good under pressure, makes good checks at the line, rarely do they run a bad play, and rarely does he make a dumb decision.

He looked the part yesterday. No silly mistakes which is the knock on him. I actually think he has a very good chance of going first overall.

When I first watched Rueben Bain, I was struck by just how perfect he is for Vrabel/Williams. He doesn't have that OLB size Vrabel seems to like (he's bigger at 275lbs), but he plays with such violent hands and high effort, I think Vrabel/Williams would love him.

S Carolina WR Nyck Harbor is a freak. 6-5, 235lbs and reportedly runs in the 4.2s. But, and it's a big but, you have to do the fundamentals right. Just had a simple drop on his first target.

And he already is doing commercials on national TV. The kid was prematurely anointed.

It helps to have that last name I guess…Now the real question is, when will he announce he’s going to the nfl? Probably needs a year or 3 at this point to polish up the turd he is…

Matty P is well respected in football circles. He is very smart by football standards. I think he will do well at Ohio State. I thought it was a great hire by Ryan Day. Did you watch Edelman's podcast when he had Matty P on?

But some people on PatsFans hate him. For example posters keep saying how awful he was as an offensive coordinator when BOB and AVP the next two years were worse. Why single out Matty P and ignore BOB and AVP? It is a weird thing on PatsFans.

I will forever have a special place for MattyP. The bend but don’t break d, as boring as it was to watch worked but this seals the deal for me…

Any ideas as to why Nebraska has been a hot steaming turd since the Osborne days? Outside a few years here and there they’ve done nothing and how many good players went to the nfl from there? I’m thinking not many…maybe they need to either resurrect Tom O. If he has passed on or buy him out of retirement….we can use Baker’s wheelchair to roll him out since Baker has no use for it anymore..

I was thinking about next years and how many top quality talent there could be (this what I think about ) and how it compares to previous drafts. This put me in mind of 2011, the first draft I followed. What a first round!

They lost their identity when they fired Solich and installed the WCO under Bill Callahan. Same thing that Wisconsin is going through now abandoning the power run game. Nebraska was never a 5star recruiting hotbed but they got the best players that fit the option offense.

He could probably convert to pass rusher or a Kelce/Waller type TE, BUT if he can develop his technique, routes & drop issues…………

That’s my guy I really want for the Pats. Very rare prospect. He was an all American track guy, and he’s concentrating on football only. Had an invite to the Olympic trials. Had a tough game, but he had the backbreaking insurance TD for S. Carolina, a 67 yard bomb.
