Talk about lipstick on a pig... he was atrocious last year. He's better than that but let's not pretend he played like a world beater that just need to be properly used to be effective.
Last year, he was coming back from an ACL injury. He only played in 59% of the potential snaps he could have lined up in. That was his lowest not counting the year that Patricia doghoused him because Patricia couldn't figure out the Outside Zone scheme and Bourne had the audacity to tell Patricia he didn't know what he was doing.

Aren’t there two gunners on the field at the same time.
yes.. Which is why I said that teams have to have 2-4 of them.. Slater and Schooler are the only ones I know of who have been dedicated ST while Gunners.

Obviously not good but ignores the fact that '23 was actually quite good: Gonzo, Mapu, Boutte, Pop and Keion. Not a world beating draft class but pretty good.
You forgot Baringer, Ryland (starting for the Cards and should be our kicker), and Jake Andrews (starting for the Texans and should be on our 53). More than quite good in 2023.

Wait, does that mean the Patriots don't have to wait 24 hours to re-sign a vested player to the practice squad? I thought the 24-hour rule applied to everyone after 4:00 pm on roster cutdown day.
Vested vets (4+ years of experience) are not subject to waivers until after the trade deadline. Technically, vets are released from their contract (thus immediately being a free agent) while younger player’s contracts are put on the waiver wire. A team claims the contract really.

What's the common denominator between those two drafts? Wolf/Groh.

But the 2023 draft was much better than 2022 or 2024 even though Groh and Wolf were here.

I tried to ensure that my tracking had the right terminology in the Roster Transaction thread. I have properly updated it for Cole Strange being subject to waivers.

Anyone claiming him would take on his guaranteed salary.

Hjalte Froholdt - starting Center for the Cardinals…although a different draft we still shouldn’t have released him.

They need a qb3 for.practice squad

They need a qb3 for.practice squad

#3QB on the PS is only good if you have no intention of bringing him up except for injury. Can't be used as a Game Day Elevation for the Emergency QB.

Maybe he wanted to play elsewhere...IDK
One wouldn’t think that a player would ever want to be cut at the deadline, but with Baker you never know, both he and his Dad seem to think that anybody (including Nick Saban, leading to his transfer from Alabama) who didn’t realize Baker was going to be 10x as good as Randy Moss was a complete idiot. Confidence is good, but it used to be a bit overblown with Baker.
…but, maybe he has seen the light in the Church of Mike Vrabel, his special teams work is certainly a good sign

When you watch his Senior Bowl highlights, not too inaccurate.

Yeah.. Love showing him taking the Center snaps in practice and not the actual game snaps. Center was a position he had all of 2 games at.. going into the Senior Bowl.

WTF were they thinking after seeing this crap? BB really did lose it at the end.

Totally ignore the fact that Strange was lining up as a CENTER and not as a guard in those Senior Bowl practices.

Man there’s quite a few nice players hitting waivers today. Feel like we need a list or something. I doubt the Pats actually claim that many players, but seems like they have an opportunity for a number of nice pieces at #4 waiver priority…

I know he was hurt and I truly hope that was why he sucked so bad.

Being 8th on a WR depth chart is kind of unprecedented. Probably not a very comfortable spot for him.
