My point is tempering expectations on what a draft should give, not how bad a draft can get.

Strange is understandable with the awful injury, but I don’t understand what happened to Sow. He was adequate as a pass blocker as a rookie, but then couldn’t pass block at all last season or again last night. There were some injuries in there, but nothing nearly as severe as what Strange had.

They moved him to the right side. Needless and pointless with Onwenu and the vacancy at LG.

Some guys have trouble moving to the other side. Wynn and Okorafor are two recent examples. But Sow was completely lost as RG.

So one of the few guys Bill drafted who can contribute is wasted.

I was about to say "ummm... Julian Edelman??" but then realized he was drafted in 2009, which is one year off the cutoff of 15 years ago. Still, as others have said, it's silly to leave off Jakobi Meyers just because he was a UDFA. That may as well be the 8th round of the draft but the player gets to pick where he goes.

I assume anyone cut this early isn't a PS candidate but I also assume they will always keep a QB on the PS so it would make sense it is Woolridge.

Speculation:
Were these guys were let go early so that teams could reach out to them prior to cutdowns?
Does that mean that these 14 have no chance at the Pats Practice Squad?
If that's the case, does that mean the Pats are looking for a different 3rd QB??

Interesting:
It's interesting that if the above is true, they didn't release guys like the following:
Marcus Epps (did he even get 2nd team reps?
Jamal Hasty (who stunk, imho)
Terrell Jennings (did nothing)

Usually the first guys cut are decent and let go early to get looks from other clubs.

I thought anyone cut has got to go through waivers. Are cut veterans with certain years in the league allowed to be free agents?
