I thought Hawk Tua girl was the grifter of the 2020's... Bunny might have already taken that title from her.

Bad analogy. Hawk Tuah girl just benefitted from making a “ dirty” comment on camera, and she took advantage of the offers that came out of that. Good for her, I have no problem with that at all. “ Bunny” is another question altogether. Imo she is a gold digger, and if it hadn’t been Belichick it would have been another really wealthy old man who couldn’t say no to her magic tongue. She’s a true grifter, and it’s really tragic that Bill can’t see it. Unfortunately I think the day is going to come where he’s going to see her bad side, and I’m guessing that’s really really nasty.

BB earned a ton of money. I can imagine he feels he can do whatever he wants to do with that money, including letting the gold digger have control of it. I imagine the kids feel otherwise.

It’s Bill’s $$$, he doesn’t owe it to anyone, including his kids. That said I hope she doesn’t get a nickel of it. I hope Bill convinces her it’s all going to be hers, and leaves her the cardboard and a magic maker to make her “ Will blow you for money” signs.

I never had a problem with Bill until he let Brady walk. They both should have ended their career's here because both had earned that right.
Once the dust cleared and time passed it didn't bother me as much and soon Bill was gone too.

In the Bill vs Media clash I remember it as Bill taking a personal beating from the media when he came here. He was called pond scum in Boston and his mentality was questioned in NY. If I was treated like that and then had the success he had I could have reacted the same way. It just hurt as a fan because he was clearly smart enough to do a presser and not give away secrets but we didn't get much of that.

Pond scum was from Cleveland, I think, but as we all know a lot of Boston media went along.

It's amazing, I've always found Bill to be at or near the top of pro coaches in being personable, pleasant, smart, genuine and fun and informative to watch. I found his personality and approach so much more attractive than Parcells'.

But I'm happy for him, I don't know that this had anything to do with his lousy decisions his last few years coaching here, but if she wasn't involved at all with his business and kept a low profile people would still disapprove of it, just not so loudly.

The age gap is not at all uncommon among older coaches/retired players and celebrities, if not the general population.

Not only as a Patriots fan, but as a person I continue to have disdain for the public hysteria surrounding this guy. If he'd won more in Cleveland they wouldn't have cared about his personal life or uncomfortableness with the media. And the people who attacked him in the league and media are trash.

This is mostly in good fun and a way to fill the off season time. Not many people really care. What is interesting is how the perception of Bill has changed here and for all NFL fans really. And much of that is his own making.

Yep. She has a track record. Prior to Bill was the 64 y/o guy (and she was 19 which is another level of ewwww).

We can only speculate if she was involved with an older man before that relationship but none of us would be surprised if she was.

IIRC it was one of our own. Herald writer Kevin Mannix hung the 'duplicitous pond scum' moniker on BB after the release of Lawyer Milloy.

I was working on a house/camp on an island in my hometown about 20 years ago and the owner and his new wife showed up from NYC for the weekend, and they seemed to be really happy. He had owned the camp for most of his life and was of modest means, not rich by any measure. He was about 75 and she was about 35. While I was talking to her she told me about how they met. She was a young tourist from Germany and met him in a night club. He’s a fascinating guy, a musician who had been a drummer for Miles Davis at one point in his career. They spent the next couple of days with him taking her all around NYC, going to all sorts of places, music clubs etc, and told her all about his long career as a jazz musician in NYC …, and she fell in love with him, they got married and were as happy could be. So it can happen if it’s the right people for the right reasons, but I don’t believe that’s the case with Bunny, I think she’s a grifter after Bill’s $$$$. Let’s all hope she never gets it.

Borges was a Parcells rump swab. He had a knife out for all things Patriot after Parcells left and wrote some vicious stuff, no doubt. I can see where he gets associated with it but the actual line in question belonged to Mannix who had it in for BB after Milloy's release. Lawyer was his boy, his go to guy for quotes, and Mannix felt Belichick had done him dirty. 'Duplicitous pond scum' was far from the only derogatory thing Mannix called BB, he piled up the adjectives in his poison penned diatribe.
