You seem upset. Even though they couldn't pull off the threepeat, Mahomes and the Chiefs are the only team in NFL history to win back to back SBs and then return for a third time in a row. That is historic brother, whether you like it or not, and it may never be repeated just like the Pats 20 year run.

KC and Mahomes are having a great run and I don't see it ending soon. They caught a break with the schedule this year with most of their top opponents (Phi, Bal, Det, Was and Hou) at home and only a trip to Buffalo for them.

Overall I have KC with the 6th best dynastic run.
1. Packers (61-67, 5 of 7), (29-31, 3 of 3), (36-39, 2 of 4)
2. Pats (01-04, 3 of 4), (14-18, 3 of 5)
3. Browns (46-55, 7 of 10)
4. Steelers (74-79, 4 of 6), (05-08, 2 of 4)
5. Cowboys (92-95, 3 of 4)
6. Chiefs (19-23, 3 of 5)
7. 49ers (84-89, 3 of 6)
8. Raiders (76-83, 3 of 7)
9A/B Miami* (72-73, 2 of 2)/Baltimore (58-59, 2 of 2))

When Brady first retired I thought that no one would come close to what he did, but Mahomes did and very quickly. If they pulled it off last year I think he'd still have a chance but now that he lost I think it's out of his reach. The biggest obstacle for Mahomes now will be longevity.

I still think that Reid has a good chance at Shula*. Two good seasons could do it.

I was thinking about this and you could easily make the argument that Mahomes is further ahead than Brady at a similar age (basically 1/2 if Brady’s career), what makes Brady so special and the obvious GOAT is he had two HOF careers.

I like Mahomes but here is the challenge he has, basically he gets a pat on the back “Well done Big Boy, now go out there and do it all again…”

Brady is a unicorn, to have that much success over such a long period is incredible.

Unlike Kermit Mahomes, Brady has never had an 0-2 start to the season.

Ah ok. Thought he just couldn’t post in the main forum. You can add me now, I had privacy settings on.

F him

Its true that Brady is and will always be the GOAT.

He always fought to the last second and he never cried with his TE on the bench for all to see.

Getting his doors blown off in two SBs with one courtesy of the GOAT, officially elimates him from any discussion. Now Drake Maye ...

The weeping like a snowflake does it for me. Puxxies.

When Brady lost the biggest game of his life and arguably in football history, SB 42, he straight up looked like the soul had left his body and he no longer felt anything at all which is the appropriate reaction.
