The Pats also picked up Lester Williams that same draft from the U.
I thought their DL would be stacked for the next 5 years with Kenny Gameday and Lester to go along with an aging but underrated Julius Adams. Both Sims and Williams were, let's say underperformers.

At least Lester stayed in the D-line rotation for several years. They couldn't get Sims out of here fast enough.

Just realized coke with Ken Sims and the Celtics Len Bias ruined the local sports scene.

Len Bias’s death was a crushing blow. The greatest basketball player of his generation except for maybe Michael Jordan. I had a friend who was a Terrapin basketball fan who told me Bias was even better.

Bias was the real deal athletically. His comp was Dominique Wilkins only he was a better shooter.

As was the case with Sims, doing coke doesn't exactly help an athlete reach their potential
