I'm terrified that we are going to pass on him because we are snakebitten over Harry
I think that fear comes more from the fans than it would from the Pats organization. Tet McMillan is closer to being Drake London than he is to being N'Keal Harry. The thing that appeals to me about McMillan is his catch radius is something that this team currently doesn't have out of its receiving options. He can snag catches that no one else on the team can. I'm also not scared off by the draftniks who are claiming he's more of an NFL WR2, because that is the same sort of talk I heard said about Brian Thomas Jr. coming out of LSU and look how he turned out.

Obviously those Scouts are Idiots Brian Thomas Jr. had hit written all over him: and I knew Nabers was better. LSU might have Three Hofers who came in the NFL last year.

This is about where his 40 time was projected. I do not think this changes anything at #4.
Folks are just desperate for any news. Can he separate like Travis Hunter...no

You mean the guy 4” shorter and 20lb lighter? Yes, height and weight matter a lot.
At the time the convo was that 4.5 was just inherently slow no matter what. But whatever

To be fair, finding guys with short area quickness is a lot more common than finding guys who fit McMillan's overall athletic profile.

I think its crazy how a guy puts in a body of work for a whole season and just because he runs under 4.5 at his pro day he is suddenly a much better WR than he was 10 minutes ago when we didn't know his 40 time. Lol. He was falling into the deep teens and now some of you want him at 4. Its ridiculous. He is the same guy as on his film.

He was routinely considered the top WR in college.

How is his release and beating press man? We have none who can consistently get separation, that’s should be our focus with him

He would be the 1st bad player in this list

This list is already filtering out bad players, so it doesn't mean that much. All it shows is that there are 8 good players that fit this criteria. How many bad players have there been that also fit the criteria? I'm guessing a lot more than 8.

If we drafted him to McDaniels' offense I could see him being a really important piece but the stats not necessarily reflecting that. Everyone wants the X receiver who fills up the stat sheet but I could see him being one of the X's that's impact is felt as much in what he opens up for others as it is in his own stats. With his size, body control on contested catches, and now seemingly answering the call on his straight line speed, there's definitely the potential there to be someone there who can clear space underneath for others based on his downfield threat ability. I still question whether he has the short area burst and overall fluidity to be one of those guys who produces a high volume of stats from the X spot.

I could see him being a guy who "only" gets 60 catches for 950 yards each year which is overall unremarkable except 15.8 is a pretty yards/catch. But with his physical profile and the type of route tree he projects to run, that type of stat line could come with him being a huge presence for opening up space underneath and opening room for others.

He can watch all of Harry's tapes on how not to do it.
