I know it's sort of silly to even bother creating this thread, but it's still important to view what other teams might be considering....

With that said it's not exactly an exciting year for the position.

Sound like anyone:

Kurtis Rourke, QB, Indiana

SCOUTING REPORT: STRENGTHS

  • Plus-plus anticipatory thrower who consistently delivers before receivers hit their breaks, showcasing advanced route recognition and timing
  • Silky smooth mechanics with consistent footwork and throwing motion, generating velocity through proper weight transfer and hip rotation
  • Natural strike thrower in the intermediate game, painting corners and back-shoulders with plus accuracy and touch
  • Quiet feet in the pocket with subtle movements to avoid pressure while maintaining throwing base
  • Advanced manipulation of second-level defenders with eye discipline and shoulder fakes
  • Pro-ready frame with plus bulk to absorb hits and maintain sight lines over rush
  • Clean, compact release with little wasted motion, getting ball out quickly under duress
  • Natural field general who commands pre-snap adjustments and protection schemes with authority

Kyle McCord. Vast improvement. Worth a mid round pick if available.

Another tall drink with plenty of experience

Keep bringing in QB's. I could see Rourke, don't think Shough will go past 3.

The hand wringing that ESPN will do on draft night as Sanders drops will be a sight to see.

Deion might just insist that he return to college.
That's the other thing, hitching your wagon to Deion Sanders and the **** show that he brings.

I am really hoping Sanders goes to the Jete.

I'm willing to hand him over with a trade swap along with their 2nd. We can still land Graham more than likely.

I think Dalton Keene failed to develop because they traded with the JEST to get him.

He's a Pro Fo Sho!

I think he's going a LOT higher in the end.
Oh yeah. Most of the 7th round guys I pluck on the PF Network mock to fill gaps are going a lot to a bit higher.

Ryan Leaf on SiriusXM's "Late Hits" today:

No scout Leaf has spoken to has a first-round grade on any QB in this draft. To wit, Shedeur Sanders basically has no ability to pick his destination the way that Andrew Luck and Eli-Eli-Oh **** did. [In fact, Leaf thinks that QB2 in this draft is Riley Leonard, slightly ahead of Sanders.]

Despite the fact that they don't think they should go in the first, scouts expect that the risk of getting screwed if they don't get a QB this year will cause Sanders and Ward, at least, to go in the first round.
