Depends what the moon is. I think milton has good value to us as a backup on a rookie contract and gadget player if the new staff has the smarts to utilize him
As I mentioned to froob.. a 3rd and 5th round pick something crazy like that.. but otherwise I'd keep Milton and allow him to continue to develop. As Drake has already had some injury issues.

A 3rd i may do that

I would too. I just worry about not having him for when Drake has to miss time. Hopefully it doesn't happen..

Thats why it would take at least a 3rd for me. Quality backups can cost 7m and up. If he becomes a reliable backup on a rookie contract thats great value.

imagine passing up on him and he becomes the next lamar?

Yes and if you want to call Brissett a quality back up.. he costed around 8m last season.

Well, the answer to that is, no, I do not consider him a quality back up. Is that an oxymoron, quality back up?

Well.. I happen to agree.. he's not a quality backup he worsened each game he had a chance to start last season.

I'm with you. Our draft expert lol and fellow great poster PatsFan2 has me sold on T McMillan.. as you have as well. As you perfectly stated we have so many needs or it feels like we have so many.. I'll also add.. uncovering all the dysfunction last season between the front off and coaching staff.. are these players really as bad? Or was it more of the problems last season? What's your thinking??
A little bit of both. I think it's critical to figure out who can be salvaged because we can't fix this all through free agency and the draft.

I think Baltimore gets them this year.
Have to see if Lamar can win against them in the AFC championship provided they get there…..

Last night's game was a real Root For the Asteroid Game. Both teams are legitimately annoying. But the Ravens took the prize when I remembered they celebrate a guy who AT THE VERY LEAST covered up two murders.

Loathe as I was to do so, I was hoping for a Steelers win. At least the son of a Patriot (Van Jefferson, son of Shawn) would have won.

I was amused the Ravens decided to run Lamar so much and then ALMOST IMMEDIATELY BACKED OFF when they remembered, oh right, we don't want our quarterback to die (the rib injury he seemed to get after one of his runs).

If they ride D Henry like they did all year they will control the LOS and keep Mahomes cold on the sidelines.. take th ball out Lamar's hands. Use his legs and instincts but it has to be D Henry.. who's gonna want to tackle Henry in the 3rd quarter..

Makes me cry every time.

That said how bad was Justin Herbert yesterday? Almost had me thinking he might have been invested in losing. How can he go from leading the NFL with fewest INTs to that? These were all on him so it's not
excusable.

"Herbert's four interceptions made him the first player in NFL history to throw more interceptions in a playoff game than in the regular season. He finished the regular season with three interceptions, leading to a league-best 0.6 INT percentage."
All on him?

I think 3 were excusable.

2 bounced off the hands of his receivers into defenders' hands.

One happened when the pocket collapsed and someone hit him as he threw causing an overthrow.

One was clearly his fault all alone, but you can't say his teammates didn't have a hand in 3 of the INTs.

I was talking about outstanding talent that Tomlin has had and still lost.
But you still have to be a top coach to get top talent over the line. Nobody is calling him a top coach. He won 1 with Ben, got to 1 SB with AB and they should’ve probably done better in the years when Le’Veon was there yes.

Plenty of teams have had more talent and still failed. Right now they have next to no talent because you can’t get your team to the top end of you pick middle of every draft.

It’s stupid of him to keep this 10-7 9-8 middle ish season **** going to protect his positive record streak.

Rooting for Buffalo to fold like a lawn chair.

Denver win would be a huge surprise. I think Buffalo will take it easily.
