Good, thats what I thought. I want all the interviews to be done, and hopefully they come up with the best candidate. Period.

rees could leave for a HC job if our offense lights it up.So maybe instead of Ben Johnson, we’d get a younger and developing version stapled to Vrabel in Tommy Rees?
I’ve seen him rumored to be everyone’s DC.Good.
He is excellent.
No.Is anyone worried Matt Patricia is the one who hired Ben Johnson in Detroit
Influenced, yes but sorry but the perception that Vrabel was inculcated all he knows by BB by is wrong. Here is what does it for me in 2018 and 2020 Vrabel used a 12th man penalty to stop the clock, saving timeouts and in both cases they scored late for the win.
Vrabel used a BB trick to run time off the clock against us and they got the win and knocked us out of the playoffs. I think attention to details like this and situations is more important than taking a chance on the "next offensive genius". Adam Gase was once considered an offensive genius, josh McD among others that failed a HCs.
Yea I'm flipp-flopping as well. Still contemplating.i was leaning to ben johnson but i think i'm being talked into vrabel and hoping he brings a personnel guru with him.
The thing we forget though is that Bill O'Brien gave Vrabel that job in the NFL, and O'Brien was there for about 5 years, so there is a vein of similarity running through all this.I don't see it as an issue.
Bill has a horrible track record of understudies assuming coaching roles but I don't think being associated with him shoud warrant a blacklisting.
Vrabel succeeded on his own. That says enough.
Not sure I get your point. The thing we forget though is that Bill O'Brien gave Vrabel that job in the NFL, and O'Brien was there for about 5 years, so there is a vein of similarity running through all this.
Belichick's tree. Vrabel played for him and then Vrabel's first NFL job came under a former Belichick assistantNot sure I get your point.
Me also but i think that shows we have 2 at least good candidates.Yea I'm flipp-flopping as well. Still contemplating.
OK I get it. Possible but I think it was more BOB wanting someone to adequately run RAC's system as he was DC in 2016.Belichick's tree. Vrabel played for him and then Vrabel's first NFL job came under a former Belichick assistant
