Can't help but wonder, does interviewing a geriatric count towards the Rooney Rule requirement?

Get ready to get jacked and pumped. I honestly wouldn’t hate him here but I highly highly doubt that either party would have any interest.

Carroll is too old. I was a fan during his time in NE. Nobody chews gum better than him. The basketball coach in Teen Wolf is his only threat to his title. Didn't throw guys under the bus, always put the blame on himself and promised to get his team ready. He absolutely got a raw deal where injuries, bad drafts and personnel decisions not only allowed teams in their own division to catch up to them, but the rest of the AFC which led to his downfall.

He was a rock star at USC and we treated them like a pro team.

He did a great job in Seattle.

Time to call it a day.

In fairness to BB he is addressing that, got himself a young exercise partner

I start to imagine that young thing navigating his hairy, droopy flab and just have to stop. BB is not what anyone would call "a fine figure of a man."

I'd like to see him get the job. For selfish reasons because we have a connection to him from his time here and more importantly SB49 its just more fun to see him on the sidelines rather then random coach X who was a coordinator for a few years.

But also even if it's not long-term I think Chicago could use someone like him with some cache. Kind like Parcells for us in the 90s even if it's a short stint and even if he doesn't go to a SB like Parcells did with us he still could be that guy that brings some credibility and leads the way for the future coach.

All joking aside, da Bears could do a lot worse. In fact they have been doing considerably worse for some time now

Carrol would be a massive upgrade over the losers they've had.
