I think last week's result, the players being critical of fans, was the last straw. It highlighted the culture of the team and I think Kraft realized that his team was no longer the team he was a fan off.

I’d be fine with McDaniels returning but my first choice for OC would be Daboll, if he is fired by the Giants. Vrabel played for the Pats from 2001-2008, so he should know Daboll well. Interesting that he was a defensive assistant for Vrabel’s first year with the Pats.

I actually really dont mind keeping Wolf for the moment. If you start firing every GM after one bad draft or offseason (and that still is TBD honestly) youre not gonna get very far. Keep him in place

I hope they are considering Ben Johnson. I fear they are locked in on Vrabel already. I think he is a good coach but Johnson could be great with his innovation. Keep an open mind.

We will see. I think they’ll talk to Vrabel first and then Ben Johnson. Then they’ll do some other interviews with guys like Brian Flores and some others. But I do kinda feel like if Ben Johnson says “I really want to come coach Maye and here’s my plan” and it blows them away, they’d certainly consider that.

Robert loved Mayo and i'm not convinced, nor were many reporting journos, that he was going to be able to pull the pin due to sentimentality.

Not saying it's a bad thing and it makes sense tbh.

I always thought he was overrated as a player. He was amazing in 2010 and 2012 and his rookie year was solid.

But he got injured in early October the next two following years and wasn't the same when he came back.

All in all he was solid for 3 years here.
