I mean, my post really was just focusing on Matt, but if I were to compare the two (AVP and MP), I think it's a positive that we're NOT seeing any stories such as the ones reflected in this report: Report reveals massive level of dysfunction in Patriots' 2022 offense

No articles this year about the dysfunctional OL and the offense's inability to even snap the ball without penalties, or the non-development of young WRs?

You're not wrong, which is why I'm saying I'm not sold on him at this point. And who knows, there could be a report at the end of the year that's damning of AVP - but, as of yet, there doesn't seem to be much "the players think he's totally unprepared as a coach."

I understand that's a very, very low bar. You're not gonna find me disagreeing with frustrations around AVP. We shall see, moving forward.

I never liked the zone-bend defense of Patricia. Once he left and Flo took over the defense they became aggressive and played man coverage. We won our last superbowl playing aggressive man defense with Flo. Patricia and Flo both were some of the longest tenured coaches when in NE. However Flo is more respected league wide.

To be fair, we won two of them with Patricia's defense. I do think Flores is overall better, though. Just seems to be able to replicate his success pretty readily. Even in Miami, he sparked that 8 game win streak with some insane sack totals.

Very true. Although in the falcons SB it took a leap of faith for us to come back in that came. The falcons were doing whatever they wanted on offense. Even the Jags were moving the ball on us in the AFCCG.
