Higgins or bust. He’s a far better player than Ridley. People always talk about the Jamar chase effect on Higgins, but the effect Higgins has on chase’s production can’t be ignored either. The bengals offense is on a completely different level when Higgins plays.

Pats need to pay up for him.

Higgins would make Pop and Boutte better: they would now be going up against he #2 and # 3CB's. I think Boutte have a Solid #3 to a #2 Upside: I think he's gonna be a really good player in 2025...he's still very young.

Twiggy really?? When was the last time we had a Young WR with those Stats?? He has 17 TD's in Two years and counting that's very good for a Player his size.

Yeah I'm kinda leery of those guys too but when they turn out good it pisses me off. Thornton just sucks: he should have never been selected where he was *Reach pick*. I was officially DONE with Thornton after he dropped that perfectly thrown deep pass from May twice...it was a basket catch after the tip and he still fumbled it. Thornton makes that catch he's' still on this Team a game of inches I tell you.

Objectively I'm with you CT but then I think if ol' Boney T coulda worked the route tree and caught balls the way his skinny ass can run we'd both gladly make that boy as many sammitiches as we could force down his throat to thicken his ass up to a surviveable weight. After all Randy Moss wasn't exactly a wide body

From my view it's mildly surprising he didn't work out. He was a 50/600 guy in MN for the last 3 years. It's not like he was a project.

I don't think Tee would be a legit #1 on his own team. I think he's a great #2 next to an all-time talent like Chase. We need a Chase, not a Higgins. All of our WR's (besides Pop) run 4.5+ That's the issue. We don't need 6'4" 4.55 guy, we need ~6'1" 4.4 guy with a brain and hands.

I don't think Tee would be a legit #1 on his own team. I think he's a great #2 next to an all-time talent like Chase. We need a Chase, not a Higgins. All of our WR's (besides Pop) run 4.5+ That's the issue. We don't need 6'4" 4.55 guy, we need ~6'1" 4.4 guy with a brain and hands.

So Toney just got cut by the Browns. He's a headcase.
But, honestly, we keep ruining WR's and cutting ALL of our presumed '24 starters (Parker, JuJu, Thornton, Osborn)
So, why not try someone else's trash. Maybe he'd emerge here - since no one else is doing it.

I didn't want Ridley. He was too old. Higgins is still young and will still be young in his 1st year with the Patriots if they sign him. People are saying that he won't be worth the money that we'd have to pay him. I don't disagree. But the problem is, until the team starts to get back to its winning ways, they will absolutely have to over pay for Higgins. And, they really need to find such impact WR's and other positions in the 2nd through 4th Rounds, which is where players like Higgins, Metcalf, Etc. were drafted, as were the Rhamondre's and Judon's and such.

believe me, I was the biggest opponent of that move. Super angry, and still not over it. One of BB's worst. And it was so spiteful. He would still be the Pats #1 WR.

Until they can show that they can draft such WR's, they'll have to over pay for Higgins and anyone else of worth until they become a winning team again.
