No offense but I refuse to have anything to do with FB. From having my legit/real acct to phonies I used for non nefarious things…I’ve deactivated all I could. I would post a screen shot of whatever you’re posting for those of us anti FB. I’m sure I’m in the minority….that being said, how are the chiefs able to keep signing people? I haven’t seen anyone released lately. Maybe I missed it.

Except for the top prospects most rookie OL take a year or two to get used to NFL play.
But a rookie who has been perhaps the worst starting OT in the league usually doesn’t become a future stud.

A URL that says "log into facebook" doesn't help any of us.

Isn't that the second time this week this has happened?

Interesting chart, thanks for that.

I don't understand why KC is not giving the rookie more help. Kingsley ranks as one of the top five tackles most often 'left on an island', defending by himself with no help. Perhaps they feel that Mahomes' ability to scramble means they don't need to give him any help, regardless of how well the line is performing.

I would be more curious to see what their overall OT and OL rankings look like, but for the small amount of time that I would actually use it, I can't justify spending $120. It's too bad that Football Outsiders went belly up, though that was team-centric rather than focused on individual players. I miss that website.

No cap issues for them apparently. I hope Ron Wolf’s kid and Al Groh’s kid are enjoying their naps.
Hasn’t played all year. Let’s cool it on the victory laps.

I'm amazed someone is using scatter plot graphs for stats like these. I would LOVE to see the analytics/big data side of the game. You know...the nerds in the booth hunching around a screen saying " We will be running the ball A gap, what is the chance they stop it? We know that the DT has been sick and has a bum knee and cannot move that well laterally. We should be able to exploit this and the chances of success is 10% that the DT does not make the play..." Would be cool to sit in on them and see what it entails.

Honestly I want to get into bg data/analytics. Use python to graph data etc.

I've often wondered about the analytics.

I assume what we generally see and read is based off averages over time based on data of all 32.

But to use us an example for 20 years we were better than league averages until we weren't and now we're worse than way worse than League averages.

I assume every team has more specific data to their own averages but even that changes year to year and even game to game depending on a ton of factors.

Pretty interesting to see Vederian Lowe ranked in very capably average territory. Not elite, but certainly good enough. Demontrey Jacobs is lower, but he’s also not their long-term guy - he’s just the “right now” answer that they can hopefully make into their swing tackle. Those stats look solid for a backup swing tackle.

All in all I’m happy with that chart. At least, happy enough to draft WR1 in the first and go into 2025 with Lowe at LT plus some prospects.
