Bad news for Pats fans, reminding us what we could have had.

Worse news for Cleveland fans is that Deshaun Watson is still their QB - and will remain so, for at least a couple more years.

after year 1, I had no complaints about Sony Michel except that he wasn't nick chubb... he stepped up big in the playoffs... ahh well, the michel vs chubb argument is not exactly high on the list of things i think about

I don’t think this singular move would have really changed the current projectory of the team

This isn't the first player that had concerns coming out of the draft, dropping, but then blowing up in the NFL.

Gronk is great example. His back made him a boom/bust pick.
Greg Jennings had concerns with his speed and route running and was also upset he wasn't drafted by the Pats.
D'Angelo Williams had concerns with the mileage in college was also pissed NE didn't take him over Maroney.
AJ Brown is the latest WR that wanted to go to NE. I don't remember if he had major concerns.

Imagine Nick Chubb instead of Sony and then Deebo instead of N'bum Harry.. Brady retires a Patriot after they 3peat 2018-2019-2020, still married to Giselle and current part owner of the New England Patriots and GM...

Like Froob had mentioned. Sony helped get us the one in the 18/19 season. His playoff performance was the pinnacle of his short career.

In the long run though, Chubb was a beast and one of the best RB’s in the last 10 years even despite the injuries. Definitely one of the fun ones to watch.

Nick Chubb wouldn’t have played in 2018, he was terrible at pass blocking… horrid.

Tom would have had his azz pinned to the bench. This isn’t fantasy football we’re talking about, it’s real world football.
