San Fran will play everyone that can play. It's a weird league this year and the Patriots could shock everyone and actually win if San Fran screws around. So Kittle imo will play, and they will take care of business. They are on a different level than the Pats at nearly every position grouping on the field.
I saw that Kittle was nursing a hammy.. those injuries are season enders sometimes... I hope he doesn't play.. we can't defend any TEs let alone Kittle.

Agreed, im not sure what happened to cause the collapse at the end, but it looks like their offense is still very functional without cmac, deebo, and kittle if hes still out. We would likely still need our best offensive output of the year and i doubt thats coming. Id also feel a little better if sf won on sunday, but now its really hard to see that team allowing themselves to drop to 1-3

The Stars will have to be aligned for Brissett to take advantage of that not holding my breath.

Oh I don't expect the Pats to win many games this year quite frankly. I'm not rooting for losses for sure just seeing what I see. However, the survivor pool this season means anything is possible.

When you have decent QB play and not the League worse. We went from Mac Jones to Brissett and it's been a downgrade.

Robinson and Wallace are rookies they get a pass. What is the excuse for the other guys. I say let Wallace and Robinson play they will get better.
Robinson sits as soon as Sow is healthy enough to replace him; and Wallace cannot - nay, Must Not - play Left Tackle for the Rest of the season.

That's why I think these are important reps for him. Sow definitely would make a difference up front.. but I wonder how close he is to returning? Enough to play Sunday?

The 49ers are really banged up if we have a chance to win this game and Brissett is struggling will Mayo do what's best for the Team and pull him?? I don't think this Offense Blows with Maye.

Your right. Mayo's the HC he has that authority.. if Brissett has 25 yards passing by the 3rd quarter does mayo pull him. I would like to see maye for at least 1 quarter..

If that's the case then they should have kept Zapp.. maye is the backup.. so when Brissett gets blown up by bosa Sunday I expect the maye day era to begin.
Breer's argument is if you're prioritizing Maye's development, why allow chance to determine when he starts.

I believe Mayo's conflicted.. he's towing the line of HC, collaborative approach.. however as he said he makes the decisions on who plays. What is keeping Brissett as starter is he hasn't turned the ball over and is behind a horrible Line. So Mayo's giving him an out. However let's say he's 10 -24 with 55 passing yards and 3 first downs heading into the 3rd quarter..

IF the Plan was to Sit Maye for a year you get a BETTER QB than Brissett. A lot of you are acting surprised with Brissett I could have told our Brass He Sucks his play or lack their of doesn't surprise me. AVP Needs to be questioned I see why the Browns moved on.

I honestly like Mayo, Maye and all our defensive coaches.

I am a little bit of a doubter on the offensive coaches but I certainly will give them a chance.

I am decidedly down on Wolf. This year's draft was the biggest missed opportunities in ages. And I'm thinking he has a thing for metrics that is leading him astray.

In 2009, filming for A Football Life, BB complained that he couldn't get his players to play for him. That is the number one requirement for a coach and what we saw in Week One suggests that Mayo had that. Whether he can sustain it after a string of losses I don't know.

The defense, which was supposed to be the team's strength, given its personnel and how much money was spent on extending players, was a disappointment in Weeks 2 and 3. They seemed bamboozled by the hurry-up and quarterbacks moving outside the pocket.

It's certainly true that AVP's offense has been "vanilla". I'd have expected more inventive use of sweeps, motion, play-action, and so on, to try to disguise the limitations of the quarterback and O-line. And what's the point of having a veteran if he can't read defensive formations and change plays at the line?

It's too early to tell with Wolf, I think. Very few players come out of college "pro-ready" these days. Likewise the O-line coach, Peters, has a terrible situation to work with.

So, yes, I'll give them a chance too.

Knowing his numbers are going in Reverse wouldn't surprise me if has a record 70yds passing on Sunday reach for the stars bullseyes.

FA 24 was the straw that broke our Offensive Camel's back nobody wanted to come here unless they were desperate. We basically resigned all our FA's some I wish we didn't.

The offensive line as we all on the forum agree is the most egregious.. like u said no body want to come here.. however no amount of money is going to get WRs or O lineman here when they know the QB sucks.
