New season ticket holder here. After last season, I imagine there will be a lot of us.

I had my name on the waiting list for about 10 years but pulled it off when they killed the Patriots Ticket Exchange and opened ticket re-sales to everyone. At that point, it wasn't worth being on the list as I was still ~20 years away from getting tickets.

Fast forward to now and apparently the Patriots offer a "Pass It On" program, which allows current season ticket holders to transfer their account to friends and family. A good friend of mine decided he no longer wanted his tickets so he offered them to me. We applied for the transfer and I'm now a season ticket holder for the 2024/25 season.

As much as I'm looking forward to this, I think my daughter is even happier. She really cannot wait. We've probably gone to close to 120 games together over the past 22 years and always had a blast... well, except for that time it was so cold tailgating that our stove wouldn't light.

Our first "game" in our new seats is June 12th - Tom Brady Night.

What is the longest one of you season ticket holders waited in line? I remember at one point, after the first two Super Bowls, the line was tens of thousands long. Who knows how long it was after the next couple of years. Yikes!
A friend of mine had his for about 14 years but the prices went too high and he was sick of the travel, traffic, cold weather/rain, etc., so he gave them up around 2015.

Congrats! I have been on the waitlist for about 10 years I think. I have a 4 year old so I am crossing my fingers in the next 5 years or so I get the offer.

I waited in line for mine ... about two hours early one snowy morning 31 years ago.

9 months in the womb and when we came out they were there.

We have been waiting for 19 years now! Since 2005. We were told over the phone that we should get in this year. Hopefully we'll hear something in June.

Congrats! Just in time for the ... er ... Brissett era?

Congratulations and welcome to the club.

37 years ago I got off work (third shift) and drove down to the stadiums ticket office, I said I wanted to purchase season tickets, they gave me a layout of all the sections and seats that were available, I asked if I could walk inside the stadium to check out the views from the available sections, she said no you aren’t allowed, well I talked her into it and she had security meet me at one of the gates. He let me in then said to me I was on my own, so I walked to the sections I was interested in, I sat down and checked out the view, I was the only person in the stadium, I walked back to the ticket office and bought two season tickets.

Who told you that? I've seen people from Feb '04 getting off the list this year. They've been working through about 1-2 months a year for a while.

The Patriots Season Ticket line. Hoping it's this year

Almost scared to ask but what does a non nosebleed seat run for when getting season tix? Not joining in, that time has passed.

Congrats on your new Season Tickets Bresna!

My how times have changed. LOL Back in the early 70's, a couple of friends and I wanted to buy season tickets so I called Shaeffer Stadium and asked to be put on the waiting list. The lady who answered the phone said "congratulations you're next and how many seats would you like to buy" (There was no waiting list) I can't remember the exact figure of what the seats cost but I think it was around $300 per seat. BTW, it was only $5.00 to park in the dust bowl around the stadium back then. I think we won 2 games the first year. My friends eventually dropped out but my wife and I kept 2 of the seats for a few years.

As much of a grind it was back then, the experience was still worth it. . .

I am actually shocked there is still a waiting list

I remember in the 80’s the Celtics had a 50 yer waiting list & then Rick Pitino joined the organization & the waiting list disappeared
They were selling tickets for $10 because just to fill the seats

I have had my seats for 35 years & I plan to hand them over to my son in the near future

Too be honest, I would have given them up this year, if my son didn’t want the tickets

Health issues make sitting at home watching the game, much more appealing

Losing last couple years was much more painful than losing big time in the 80’s.

I was hoping with a few down years after the dynasty people would start giving theirs up but with the resale value still pretty high and the ability to gift them to family it seems like it's going to be a while.
