He will. All that talk is to allow the competition to work itself out. As of today being he's a veteran and played in AVPs system Brissett has the edge. However the defense will have no mercy on any of the QBs.. if maye beats out Brissett then that's only a great thing for the offense.

Agreed. Only difference is we don't have a future HOF QB to have maye wait like GB did. We drafted a QB to play.. if he beats out Brissett in camp.. I don't see why mayo wouldn't play him. When I say beat out meaning it's a clear and overwhelming bt the coaching staff that maye best Brissett in camp.

Oh, he's playing, just a question as to how early. He'll be the best QB in training camp IMO so he'll start pretty early on. History shows no harm at all to start a rookie and higher drafted rookies fair the best when starting right away.

I don’t know I want to do what AVP and Macadoo say to do they Would be the ones I leaned on.

That's very interesting. I know I remember hearing about PM when he was drafted.. that he had a rocket for an arm.

It truly hinges upon how he does in camp. The defense will be throwing everything at him. There will also be joint practice with the pre season games as well.

If he shows he ready then I believe Mayo's willing to start him. If not then absolutely no harm in allowing him to acclimate slowly to the NFL.

From what Wolf said himself.. all roster related things with development, playing time, is all handled by mayo and his staff. They both work in unison. Wolf will be at training camp as well so as the draft went. If maye does start I can basically guarantee it will be a collaborative decision with ownership where mayo and wolf sell to Ownership why they feel maye is ready.

I think he will eventually play this season around Thanksgiving or so
He has some footwork flaws that affects accuracy. I think this needs to be resolved before you throw him to the wolves
All this depends on Brissett staying healthy
