CB is such an important position I'd like to be ahead of things and bring in a more significant option.

But to answer the question Gonzo, Jonathan Jones, and Marcus Jones is a darn good trio so adding something like JC and a few day 2 DBs in the draft is not a terrible approach given all our other needs in other position groups.

I'm more just kinda frustrated about this whole Ridley thing. Really irritating we had to be teased with reports that we were pushing for him, but he was stringing us along with Jacksonville the entire time.

I agree but maybe he changes his mind.
Of only we had a franchise QB to convince him.

Texans OT Josh Jones would be a good signing, IMO. Going into age 27 season. He had some good play at LT for AZ in 2022, but they have a highly paid LT in Humphries and then drafted Paris Johnson last year, with Kelvin Beachum as a backup. So they traded him to HOU, wher ehe backed up Tunsil. He's bounced around to some other spots but LT is his college position. Currently, we don't have any player on the roster who's ever been a starting caliber LT so could be a good upside play here for us.

Donvan People-Jones had some good production under AVP in CLE. Going into his age 25 season so still very young. Could maybe add a young contributor to the WR room in a depth role.

I mentioned TEN NT Tart earlier as another younger player.

It'd be nice to take a few fliers on younger guys with multi year deals in hopes of locking a position in longer term.
