I'll take the more mobile, athletic, faster guy in McDermott in the hopes I can strengthen him up. After four years of college Lowe isn't improving much as an athlete, but strength can be achieved. I have McDermott listed as a backup, he's a solid guy on the bench because he can play both left and right.

Lowe can go.
I remember when you were all in on NKeal Harry, even after everyone knew he was a bust. You assured us he would break out any day now. Pardon if your evaluations are less than worthless.

We should be happy they signed a bad player?

N’Keal is still in the league, should we sign him, or is it only trash we’re unfamiliar with that’s acceptable?
Lol, this is priceless. You know we have receipts.

Those numbers sound really good to me. Im feeling like hes our swing at a minimum with potential to be our starting rt. Good start for our new regime.

Chukwuma okorafor - terrible sign. Just wanna be on record saying I don't like it at all
4 mil base salary
5.3 40 awful
Awful vertical and broad
Awful 3cone and shuttle
Awful everything.
And these numbers matter at tackle
Waste of 4 mil great way to start FA
HES A F**KING BACKUP!!!!!!!!

Ok, you win, what was I thinking. Every OT is banging down our doors to come here. Sign all the starters…hell, our entire 53 has to be pro bowlers or they suck.

For **** sake look at it for what it is, a decent depth signing for OT. Don’t have to be excited but good lord put Down the f***ing pitchfork at least till next week at this time.
Don't bother with Wuzzy. He was gun-ho on Nkeal Harry when we all knew he was a bust. His rants are amusing at best since we know his evaluations are trash.

As a #3 or #4 tackle, he's not a bad player. He's average. That's what you do in early March, sign the very few players available to fill roster holes where you can. It says nothing about better players they are targeting.
When they sign a better tackle I will cheer, I don't get the consternation over me not celebrating a bad signing.

I was high on N'Keal when he barely played as a rookie, but you knew he was a bust? Stop making up fantasy scenarios in your head and posting them as if they really happened.

I give any talented rookie a chance to prove he can play, often a few years, once they show they can't... I don't pretend they can genius.

Your method of telling us every Patriot player sucks, until they don't, isn't "evaluation." It's betting the draft is a crapshoot and if you say they all suck you'll be correct 60-70% of the time because that's how hard it is to make it in the NFL. Okorafor has been in the league six years, we probably have a large enough sample size to form an opinion by now.

A good athlete can not be good at football. A bad athlete almost never works. Like maybe 1% Especially at positions like corner and tackle. They might not have a good 40 but be good with jumps it shows explosion or they might show up in agility drills something shows up where a player can hang their hat on. Chukwuma was awful everywhere if he wasn't drunk that day ya got a 1% chance hes not a jag. I'm just saying 4 mil coulda been spent better.

This feels like one of those moves Bill would not have made for some reason.

I don't mean that in a bad way either. He seemed to go cheap on backup linemen, and it used to work until recent years.

Chad Jackson was the best WR athlete in his draft class, N'Keal was uber talented as well... why don't you tell us which WR's in this coming draft class are going to be busts so the team can stay away from them?

Oh yeah, because you're only a draft expert years later... in hindsight you're a genius.

A good athlete always has a chance to be a good player, a bad athlete has almost no chance of being a player. Let me explain to you how water is "wet" next.

Chubacca got a 2nd contract (3 yrs, $29.2M). Players that suck don't get 2nd contracts. He complained about the play calling in Week 8 and was replaced by the rookie. Matt Canada was fired in Week 11, so he wasn't wrong.

AvP saw him play twice a year for years. I trust his evaluation over yours 6 ways to Sunday.

26 years old. He was the starting RT for the Steelers the past 4 seasons.
- In 2020, missed 1 game, otherwise 100% of the snaps in every game
- In 2021, basically 100% of the snaps in all games
- In 2022, missed 1 game, otherwise 100% of the snaps in all games
- Last year, 100% of the snaps for the first 7 games, then was replaced.

That's a lot of experience and sounds like a good signing. Also sounds like Calvin Anderson is 100% back from his illness, and he can play either side, so these 2 things alone give me more hope about OT than I had last week.

The Steelers offensive line has been abysmal.

Facts aren't your friend.

I hope he does ok. He's gotten some reps and he's young. Probably kicks McDermott out the door

Think he more likely kicks Lowe/Anderson out the door. There's room for both McDermott and Chuks.

If those two were our backups to either Onwenu/another FA pickup and a 2nd round rookie, I'd be pretty satisfied with the position going into next season.

AvP and Scott Peters see some value in signing this 6 year vet. Looking at his ras after 6 years in the league is worthless. They obviously see a fit for their scheme, either as a back-up, swing tackle depth, 6th OL, or what have you.

Pats still have $84.6M, plenty to sign a few elite players.

Not getting into last season because we know the RT s***show it was until Onwenu took over

2022 Season
Wynn/Cajuste/McDermott/Cannon:
1264 snaps 14 penalties 9 sacks

Okorafor
1159 snaps 4 penalties 3 sacks

I said my piece. I hope it works. Seems like he's had some good reps. Everyone has their team building philosophies. One of mine is having at least B level athletes at every spot

Some the earlier videos on YT have him at LT but this was maybe college only. He may like playing for the Pats.
