It’s about as fresh and edgy as the “Tomahawk Chop.” I swear every Steelers fan brought them to the game last night.
Hey Steelers fans, the 1970’s called and they want their towels back…maybe you can use them to dry your tears?
It is their thing. I don't see a problem with them.

lol cant say much to that. Poor Gino was a great Patriot though.
And for the record, the day Gil and Gino stop doing the broadcasts will be a very sad day indeed. Whenever I hear radio clips from other teams' broadcasts, the more grateful I am that we have the two of them.
I know. They should really be pouring molten steel on the opposing team's bench, instead.I've always been somewhat perplexed by the whole Terrible Tampon thing. For such a storied, blue collar, grind-it-out city/team it sure is real gimicky.

Leaving the game last night I heard chants of "Light it up! Light it up!" Initially I was thinking people were referring to a postgame cigar or other smokable object, but it was really a terrible towel which was lit on fire as I walked by.
Hey, if it gets/keeps the crowd involved, I think it's great. Wish we had something to keep the level up during the home games.
