Not good. He doesn't suck though. Is he perhaps not the GOAT coach we and many other believed him to be, I think that is fair to speculate on. Personally for me he has lost that title. Maybe if he had a better GM he wouldn't, but that is neither here nor there.
Sean Payton retired in 2021 and the Saints still owned his contract. When he decided he wanted to return to the game, his options were return to the Saints or allow his contact to be traded. Saints had already moved on and weren’t going to fire a second-year HC, so Payton’s options were essentially stay retired or allow himself to be traded.
Imagine how much better this photo would be if that orange hoodie wasn't there! As is it kind of reminds me of Schindler's List with the red hoodie popping among the dreary colorless surrounds.
