At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.
Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.
This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.
If you do you will have your account suspended.
I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.
Over the years we've seen so many guys like Mac Jones who were excellent college QBs at the college level but overwhelmed by the speed and complexity at the NFL level. Mac Jones works hard and has skills, but he's just overwhelmed. My guess is that he's destined for a career as a coach.
Zappe hasn't seemed like he's added a lot of arm strength this offseason. Some of those throws have been pretty weak. I know he worked a lot on his arm motion throwing around guys, but definitely doesn't look much stronger, which is disappointing.
Depends on the context. I think the film looking at how guys handle adverse situations is a good barometer. Albeit, to your point, a lot of the easy throws those guys get isn't necessarily going to tell us much.
I think poise and decision making, both under normal circumstances and under pressure, are the most important aspects of a QB, assuming a baseline level of arm strength and accuracy. There are some circumstances where you can judge that, but often times you can’t with the big programs because of the talent discrepancy versus the other team and the talented teammates. Doesn’t mean the player doesn’t have it, but you can’t tell by the games. Interestingly, Brady is one of the guys who actually had a lot of it in his tape, due to his platoon situation, coming when losing, and his good but not super-elite college team.
