The Mac era crashed and burned today. It's been a long time coming. Mac is the worst QB in the league. No confidence. No poise. Panics consistently. Bad Decisions. Stupid Play. He's a bust. The sooner we recognize that, the better off we'll be as a franchise.

He was released and not a single team in the league wanted him. They have been trying to replace his as the backup for months. He is not an nfl starting quarterback. If you want to play him to tank, fine, otherwise it’s a waste of time .

Start Grier, Cunningham backup. Mac the emergency and cut Zappe.

(2) draft the very best OL or a game changing WR (Harrison)
(3) get a Cousins type vet to play two years as you acquire talent
(4) in 2026 draft a QB who hope can be the guy

There is no Zappe era. If he can’t do a good job coming in a game in relief then he has no business being in the league at all. That’s literally his job as backup. The excuses are ridiculous for this guy.

Should have never been drafted where he was or at all for that matter. Massive blunder by BB when you see what Howell is doing in WAS. That’s the guy who would put Mac on the bench if he was picked instead of Zappe smurf.

Thank God, the New England nightmare is over and Mac Jones has played his last game ever as a Patriot. You seem like a nice guy, and certainly seemed to try hard, but, obviously, today was your last day as a starter in New England. I hope you can regain your composure playing for another NFL team in the future.
