You can get a competent QB in round 2 or 3, really. It doesn’t have to be a top pick. Those guys are the “elite” guys, but if you just want competence, like Kirk Cousins level, they’re around later certainly. They can find someone better than Mac in the 2nd in all likelihood. Marvin Harrison Jr + a 2nd round QB can take you places.

How many QB's have been drafted in the last 10 years? How many are successful starters?

If it is a choice of a second round pick or Purdy, I am taking the pick all day long. Purdy is showing in recent weeks that he needs great players around him.

Trade Jack Jones and a 3rd to Bears for Jaylon Johnson, pay him what he wants, and not worry about the CB position for the next 5 years.
