This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.
At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.
Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.
This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.
If you do you will have your account suspended.
I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.
That's because every time they pitch the ball to him on sweeps, he has neither the shiftiness, the vision nor the toughness to make the needed yards, Ian.
He needs to do the Deion Branch thing and just get down. Douglas did that at one point last week and it reminded me of Branch, and I'm certainly fine with it. Live to line up for another play.
Because Tyreek has a 3cone/Shut of 6.53/4.06, so he can cut like a lightsaber through butter. Even though I'll believe in my speed guys to the very end (which seems close...), during the draft I was shocked they got someone (TT11) with 3cone/Shut times slower than TB12. It was almost like they were making up for missing out on DK Metcalf (who has terrible 3cone/Shut but has rare size with that straight line speed).

I agree with this completely. Avoiding injury generally is a very underestimated skill area. They oughta coach that up more than they do. It appears to have helped Tua, certainly.
Think about qb's who played a lot of baseball and know how to slide. That's a valuable skill.
Oh dang, you're absolutely right. Imho, that is something that can be trained (think speed skating training), so hopefully it's improved over the years.

He’s supposedly been working with a jujitsu coach, who has helped him learn how to fall and protect himself better, which is certainly a good thing for him.

A win here would do wonders for the team psyche, imagine beating josh allen and then winning in miami!!
Not that confident though to be totally honest, we just never seem to put up more than 17ish on this team in most cases and that would not be enough to beat this offense . Hoping we turn it around

Pitching to him on sweeps really isn't "getting the ball to him in space. What they need to be doing is, as mentioned, hitting him on the move with slants and crossers. If you hit Thornton that way, he has the speed and vision to take it to the house every time.
If you go back and watch him play at Baylor, he's line up and if the defender tried to use inside leverage, Thornton would blow by him and then slant or in cut, make the catch and take off. If the defender lined up with outside leverage, Thornton would smile and run a shallow slant, leaving the defender in the dust because they couldn't match his speed.
The key was to hit Thornton in stride. If you didn't hit him in stride, then you were taking away his key advantage.

Agreed. This game will basically send them down one of two paths, and I’m really hoping they can put together enough of an effort to keep building some momentum.

Looking forward to hopefully another big play from Pharaoh Brown this week. Guy has done a great job flying under the radar while coming up with some huge catches in recent weeks. He was in on 38% of the snaps last week, second-most for the season (40% at Dallas). Quietly been a great addition this season.

On one play last week Douglas should have went out of bounds but stayed in for about 1-2 more yards. He can’t keep doing that…he’s too small to take constant hits.
I always listen to the radio broadcast. Listening to Zo do color is like those people who used to visit Bedlam ("Bethlehem") Hospital to watch the crazy people. It's my guilty gameday pleasure.
