i just turned on hoping to listen to brady and D&C are already 'relishing' in a red sox sort of a way that pitt could be the game we lose and they are more physical than the ravens and ben r is better . Seem to be revel in hope of a failure. Not saying it cant happen but the hosts seem comfortable now hoping they will be miserable this weekend .needless to say i turned it down and hope to listen to brady on the vault.

You guys haven't figured it out yet? You're going to keep hearing every game is the one they lose. When they beat the Steelers it's going to be Jets that will win then the Giants then whoever the play in the playoffs.

said I was going to do ESPN radio now that my head unit gets it but EEI was on when I got in the car yesterday morning so I kept it there thinking I might get some TB interview....here's what I got instead about the Gaff TD catch:

Caller: "just a point - the receiver doesn't have to have two hands on the ball for it to be in control and be a catch"

Pompus As*: "that may very well be but answer me this: did he have two hands on the ball before he went out of bounds?"

Caller: "it doesn't matter, he doesn't need to for it to be a catch"

They were doing that same "...because he's in a Patriots uniform" talk yesterday also. God, I'd like to strangle them. I realize that the people on radio here are a bunch of homers, but that's how it is everywhere. For the local guys to have such disdain for the local team is just not interesting radio.

I would listen to ESPN Radio but their signal is so pathetically weak, I can never get it in my car. WFAN in NYC comes in more clearer than ESPN Radio and I think ESPN Radio has a tower in Lowell which is the next town over from me. My college radio station probably had a stronger signal than ESPN Radio.

Yes he was. First question they asked was if he was in a bad mood at his postgame press conference. Brady said he was tired. That's all I caught of it.

I grew tired of Denise and MaryAnn and now listen to Boomer and Carson on WFAN. They cover the Pats better than D & M and have a much more listenable snow, ie-no friggin politics. WEEI should ****can Denise/MaryAnn and let Meter do the show solo or with Steve the steak scion.

Can someone tell me what happened to D&C? I haven't been able to catch them on the radio for a year or so, but I used to listen every day, and if I remember correctly they used to be Pats fans as much as they are Sox fans. What changed their minds? Was it Spygate?

D and C is a procedure to scrape and collect the tissue (endometrium) from inside the uterus. Dilatation ("D") is a widening of the cervix to allow instruments into the uterus. Curettage ("C") is the scraping of the contents of the uterus.

D and C, also called uterine scraping, is a fairly minor surgical procedure. The procedure may be performed in the hospital or in a clinic using general or local anesthesia.

The vaginal canal is held open by a speculum, and the opening to the uterus (cervix) may be anesthetized. The cervical canal is widened using a metal rod, and a curette (a metal loop on the end of a long, thin handle) is passed through the canal into the uterine cavity. The big problem with Adams is he knows nothing about football and doesn't really like it. You can tell he doesn't watch the Patriots games closely by the answers he gives callers. He has to rely on his studio assistant for basic information like which NFL teams are in which conference, etc. But ask him which single-A Red Sox minor league prospect had a slight hangnail in 1983 and he'll give you an immediate answer. The guy is all baseball and otherwise sucks.

That's right they have. The Sky is Falling attitude is gone, so why try and bring it back? The Sox are the toast of baseball and should be respected as such. Boston fans who revert back to pre-2004 days need to get their heads checked. The Patriots loss in the 2006 AFCCG was equally painful to me as Buckner and Boone....that doesn't make them the Red Sox of old, though.

Quite agree. I was a bit surprised that some of the Pats fans still continue to evaluate the opponent based on who those guys lost to. That might be a good measure in general but for some reason, when it comes to us, we seem to make the most average QBs look stellar - at least during the last two weeks. Hope we stop it.

In fact, I think that our games with the remaining teams, including the Jets and Fins, will not as easy as what I thought before. Hope I am proved wrong...

D&C are mad because Belichik is on the big show with Ordway. Plus, Ordway has DeOssie and Smerlas, two people who are actual EX NFL players! The two bigots in the morning can't make racist jokes so they go after the Pats instead. It must really s*** to be them. I mean, the team is at the top of the NFL heap and it won't last, and all they can do is bring up the negatives.

Cannot tell you how many chances I have given these guys, often turn them on to try to catch Brady or something else, and they wind up doing their Hardy Boys or angry white guy routines.. flip the channel to NPR or something as not much else on. These guys are the resident contrarians, who are trying to become another Borges or Felger.. really pisses me off, would like to get something good on the way to work.
