Even after his health statement, there are still some Chicago media members saying something awful occurred, and that's why he resigned.

Albert Breer just tweeted out that the Bears' coaching staff is stunned at the resignation.

I’ve said it before here and I’ll say it again now. The favoritism of the league and its media suckups to Dallas, Green Bay, and Pittsburgh is flagrant. I’m not suggesting they “get more calls” in games but it’s apparent they, and the Giants, have have more influence than their value to the league would seem to warrant. I call that ”the Shula syndrome,” the same double standards benefiting them as the jutting chinned ahole got from the league for 20 years.

This seems ingrained in Boomer types who have a glorified view especially of the Packers and Steelers from 50 or 60 years ago when they were youths. Dallas at least has had a good run (about 30 years ago!); since the clock struck midnight on 1/1/1980. As a Boomer myself I recognize the mentality but don’t suffer from it.

We see the same syndrome when the HOF votes are done, by much the same people (looking at you, Peter King); how else to explain putting an ordinary player like Donnie Shell in before the dozen or so superior safeties who weren’t surrounded by 4 other HOFers on his same defense, or the ludicrous idea that Thanksgrandpa Art Rooney III deserves HOF votes. Just makes me less inclined to like those teams (and no @mgteich its not “envy“ or “hate,” it’s a reaction to hypocrisy and double standards which I deplore in all realms, not just in relation to the Pats; oh OK it is jealousy but I do hate those double standards).

This looks like it should be a XFL uniform.

Fair enough. I'd agree with that. Myles hasn't been a disaster at all. But having myles on the outside in stead of Wade it just telling what the coaching staff thinks of Wade for example. This is the least likely scenario to have in our CB group especially with the offenses we are facing. Question do you see ameer speed in the mix?
Wade was great at Ohio St playing nickel, but sucked outside.
