That second period was ugly for the panthers. 5 on 5 and halfway through the 2nd period it looked like Vegas was on a power play for like 2-3 minutes.

Panthers just couldn’t sustain offense, this could have easily been a sweep.

Also Tkachuk being injured after game 3 was a difference maker.

I live in Nevada and I’m happy for the VGK. They lost that first year vs the Washington capitals and that was just a one sided series like this one.

The Panthers ran out of gas after beating some good quality teams in rounds 1-3. Had they played Vegas in rounds 1 or 2, they would have beaten them as well. And they were overly reliant on Tkachuk.

VGK won’t be a strong team next year. They will need to let go of few people but I hope they can keep Hill. That guy is a good GK.
