This is D Harris who is a receiver like Rham. Or said another way, this is Rham Part 2. Big strong runner who can catch. Great signing since I assume he is fully healed. Strong with great hands.

Love Damien Harris but Robinson is a much better receiver. This is a good signing. He can be the passing back but also run between the tackles.

He's been a solid RB, he stepped into a full time bell cow roll 2 years ago when Etienne went on IR during training camp and missed the entire year

He's not an all pro or anything but he's a very solid back

never hurts to have a consistent, reliable veteran on your depth chart to help spell Rham while the younglings keep grinding

RBs can go down fast.. you have too many RBs until you suddenly dont

I like the signing. I also think we will draft another RB. If someone falls in the draft, and there are some good ones, Pats will pounce again. This year’s crop had the injury bug. Couple of good will be around late 4th - early 6th.

I felt last year there was an absence of a dedicated above average third-down back for the first time in the entire Belichick regime.

Robinson has also been on offenses the last two years which were so incompetent it could mask his actual talent and value: The Urban Meyers Jags and the Zach Wilson Jets.

You are talking about Robinson like he is old- he is still only 24. He is younger than Rhamondre and only a few months older than the “youngling” Strong.

If Robinson is close to healthy I love this signing.

His return at the beginning of last season from Achilles surgery was way ahead of the usually recovery time and he was far from 100%.

He is a 3 down back if healthy & great insurance if Stevenson goes down.
