NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION Official 2023 Free Agency Thread

They only wanted a 2nd last year when he had a half year more left on his contract. It's gotta be less now.
Different market conditions brother.

agree..but who is a higher target than him other than brown...mcgary, beachum or fant maybe..

Unfortunately the few good options are running out.
There are two interesting young LTs, both RFA - Steele and Nijman.
Steele was tendered (2nd) Nijman looks like not.

Id give a second for Steele in a heartbeat as mentioned before. Nijman played both sides - like Dillard.

Then there are Pats “rejects“ like Elu, Flemming (i have a hunch they will settle for one of those).

I liked Risner coming out but he did not pan out as tackle.

Then theres a bunch of old guys.

And then there's Wynn - still better than most when healthy and motivated - which says enough..

DoesnT look good atm - i was only interested in LT in FA tbh so ill be tuning out soon : )

Best blocking TE/jumbo OL in the game . but obviously Pats dont need TEs that can block anymore..

When last I check the important date list, the trading deadline is still in November, 8 months from now, EIGHT MONTHS IN WHICH WE WILL BE IMPROVING THE TEAM.

It is a bit silly (IMO) to believe that options are running out before the season even begins. Of the patriots on the 53-55 man squad for Game One, many will added after the first week of free agency, BELIEVE IT OR NOT!

Jeudy Gesecki Berrios all would be forgiven.

I have an extremely hard time seeing Jeudy going for a 1st round pick when he has not produced all that much in the NFL so far and only has 1 year left on his contract. I'd say a 2nd at the max, wouldn't be shocked at a 3rd. Devante Parker went for a 3rd last year and had 2 years left on his deal.

Jeudy’s ceiling is much higher than Parker’s.

I know it’s day one but damn, team has holes to fill and plenty of cap space this and next year. Thought they’d make some kind of
Move today.

I read that Elu changed his attitude and was good for Vegas in 2022.
