Again. You completely ignore the hot garbage that was the coaching of last season and act as if that had nothing to do with what we saw.

What "quality" guys are there? Meyers is the Best in free agency. Thielen and Hopkins aren't upgrades over Meyers. To me, they're older versions of him.

Last year there were plenty of times that both Parker and Thornton were open and Jones missed them because of the O-line issues.
To me, Bourne and Parker are the new version of Branch and Givens. Thornton should end up being a better version of Terry Glenn.
I didn’t ignore the coaching. I stated that Bourne will hopefully perform better with more playing time. Parker has had only one year over 800 yds receiving in his 8 year career, has injury issues, and is 30 years old. Thornton hasn’t done anything. I feel like my assessment is pretty darn fair. As far as options out there, I’ve got no clue. Bills gotta work out who’s possibly available for trade, and hopefully target a couple of guys in the draft, with the hopes that one of em can contribute. As the receiving corps stands, you’ve got a couple of guys that are career 40-70 reception guys. That’s it. It wasn’t all on the coaching.

I don't know if he'll be the best or the worst and neither do you. He's had some really good games, and he's played with a ton of first rounders that have all panned out and a soon to be top 5 pick so I'm not sure if that's a good reason. It's just funny how you come across that this is a certain thing. There isn't really a sure fire WR stud in this draft like some years.

The fact that there is no sure-fire stud is why I can say that JSN isn't close to being the top WR in the draft. It's called having an opinion. Something you clearly have issues with other people having. I also gave you the factual information as to WHY I don't believe he's as good as advertised.

What's pathetic is that you chose to harp on my post saying that JSN isn't the best and not the post that claims that he's best that provided zero factual information.

Feel free to move along.

Well to be fair he said arguably the best meaning he doesn't know, and you said he isn't close like it's a sure thing. But I'll stop here

Just out of curiosity who do you have as the best in this class?

Calling it now: Pats are gonna stay patient the first few days of free agency. We are gonna lose our collective minds like usual, begging to do something. Then we add a few solid pieces on the 3rd/4th day. Nothing earth shattering. Then we make a big trade for someone we are not even thinking about.

JSN is in the top 3 wr of most mocks I’ve seen (Johnston and Addison being the other 2).

It is true that in 2021 he was alongside Wilson and Olave so he wasn’t drawing the toughest matchup. But then we have the Rose Bowl tape where OSU was minus Wilson and Olave and JSN went for 300+ yards and 3 scores.

Parker is a solid 2 that can’t stay healthy. Bourne, I agree with you. A good WR that if given some playing time can produce. Thornton has yet to do anything, a lot of potential there. To me, that’s hot garbage. Parker is a jump ball guy that you hope will make those contested catches and come down right. Bourne will hopefully get more playing time and will definitely pick up the slack left by Myers, and maybe Thornton is going to get better? I hope he does, but as of right now, our receiving corps doesn’t have a consistent chain mover, it doesn’t have a consistent separator. I’m not worried about it. There’s still plenty of time left to add a few quality guys, but if that’s who we start our season with, be prepared to not finish strong.
#1 WR - open
#2/#3 WR - Parker, Thornton
Slot WR - Bourne

Trade for a top WR and this is NOT a bad group, so NOT hot garbage.
And yes, we will sign several camp bodies to compete for the PS and in case of injuries.

Until you trade for that player, it’s a bad group.

Isn’t there still a multi year waiting list for season tickets? I think they can keep prices high without a big splashy move (even if I want splashes)
To continue his successful profitability, Kraft needs to always have the team competitive for the plyoffs.

Looks like they are trying to go the mid tier route for a tackle in free agency.

So, the team is prohibited from drafting their OT in first round of the draft?
