I was wondering if anyone had the W/L record overall as HC, with Brady and w/o Brady.

Not including playoffs:

With Brady when he starts: 219-66
Without: 79-88

It tells a lot that the point you are arguing is the adjectives describing a coach and no the actual point of the post.

You're the one who called a great coach a "bumbling idiot." I am just calling you out and presented facts that dispel that notion. Care to answer my question?

How many times did you call him a great coach before 2018? Let me guess.....................................0?

But you did provide evidence that Reid is a better coach than Bill

What does that have to do with my question? Is a coach "bumbling idiot" merely for failing to win a SB? Yes or no?

Why dont you answer mine? But we can settle on Notorious choker who doesnt know how to manage a clock and repeatedly comes up short with highly talented teams...Vs coaching a dynasty in his mid 60s. What a script flip

That ain't happening because he doesn't think he is. He's said in prior posts you can drop 1/2 the coaches in the league into Foxboro and win Super Bowls with Brady.
I'll play this game...

Current NFL head coaches who could have won a Super Bowl with Brady in his prime (which actually spans almost his entire career):

Sean McDermott
Mike McDaniel
Zac Taylor
John Harbaugh
Mike Tomlin
Doug Pederson
Andy Reid
Josh McDaniels
Sean Payton
Nick Sirianni
Brian Daboll
Kevin O'Connell
Matt LaFleur
Kyle Shanahan
Pete Carroll
Sean McVay

That's exactly half. And I was on the fence about a couple more but left them off the list. Most of these head coaches could have won multiple Super Bowls with Brady but at least one. Reid, Payton, and Carroll would be in GOAT conversation had they had Brady. Reid is already close.

I'll take it a step further... let's say Belichick has 3 years left. Are there any head coaches on that list that you would prefer to have over Belichick for the next 3 years (with the current team in NE)? I count 8 of them.

Gibbs pre-comeback was an all-time great. I'd love to see what he would have done with a HoF QB. Bill is #1, but Gibbs for sure has a seat at the table.
Gibbs has the greatest accomplishment of any head coach in the history of the NFL: 3 Super Bowl championships with 3 different starting quarterbacks (none hall of famers and two were pretty much garbage). He has a slightly better postseason winning percentage than Belichick. And he has the highest postseason winning percentage of all head coaches with 15 or more games.

Andy Reid was never a "bumbling idiot." He compiled a 130-93-1 record with the Eagles and went to 4 straight NFCCGs and a SB with McNabb at QB. Then he went 53-27 without Mahomes in KC. If he's a bumbling idiot, what does that make Bill whose record is far worse without Brady?
Holy ****, that's a pretty good post.

Why hasnt he turned anybody else into a player near the caliber of Brady?
Because he can't. BB's had 20+ other QB's pass through his "system" and none of them are even above average. Most blow.

All he did was walk right into admitting Reid is a better coach than Bill
I'm sure he believes that. @MAC10 thinks Belichick won by cheating. At least the first 3 SB's. I'm pretty sure he discounts SB 49 too because of "deflategate." He can correct the record if I'm misstating his contention.

I think you should put this post as your tagline so anyone who reads your posts can understand the level of intellect and football knowledge they are dealing with.

Let’s be clear. You just said that you believe Andy Reid is a better coach than Bill Belichick. Is that correct?

You have got to be kidding me with this..

The context is 6 Super Bowls. Not 1.

I'd delete this post if I were you.

Without their legendary qbs? For sure based on Mac10s post. It’s unfortunate for Reid that mahomes didn’t fall in his lap 20 years earlier

Please be clearer next time then. You said Super Bowls, as in more than one, you didn't say 6.

I said my list is of head coaches who could have won a Super Bowl with Brady in his prime. Then I said many could have won multiple and a few could have won more than 2. I think Reid could have approached 6 with Brady. Payton possibly too (but with a lower probability). Most of the head coaches I named are relatively young so I'd need more information before I could confidently say more than 1 (or 2).

You can't overlook that Brady won a Super Bowl in his first season with a new head coach at age 43. Brady had a tremendous season in 2020, and 2021, but I would say he was past his prime. When you watch film of Brady throughout his career, you can see by the time he reached 40, his pocket mobility was (slightly) diminishing and it was probably most evident this season.

But in Brady's prime (2007-2017), how could you doubt he could win at least one Super Bowl with (most) of the head coaches I listed? I'm seriously asking the question.

Indulge me if you would... how many Super Bowls does Belichick win had Bledsoe remained the starter? How many Super Bowls would Belichick have won with Philip Rivers? Roethlisberger? Peyton Manning? Eli? And I don't know isn't an answer. It's a hypothetical question.

Brady's the greatest quarterback of all time so I don't think it's earth shattering to think he could have won at least won Super Bowl with multiple other head coaches throughout the history of the NFL.
