Patriots playing In Germany next year

Those 5 teams announced are the ones losing a home game and there is no way the Chiefs are playing twice in Europe. It will be one of the NFC opponents: Washington, Philly or New Orleans.

Since it's a 17 game season will Gillette still get 8 games?
We will always get 8 home games since it is a 17 game season now. Last year we played 9 away games. This year I would guess we are getting 9 home games with the Germany game counting towards one of our home games. Just my guess

I hope the German team does not have a mobile QB with a big arm

You would be correct.

NOOOOOOOOOO!!! I hate, hate, HATE this!!! As a season ticket holder I want that game in Foxboro, not freaking Germany. I could not care less about the NFL's European PR cash grab.

thats nice, but they don't care about you just about your money flowing into their pockets, the game in Germany could easily sell 500k tickets within a day and thats probably for any NFL game anywhere in western europe, $$$$$ talks baby

Have to seriously consider making the trip for this game.

Me too! Those beer mugs, man!

Plus, I have an old boss that lives in Berlin...maybe I can visit him too!

The Chiefs.

I think it stinks since Germany's like 6-7 hours ahead of New England meaning that if it's a 1 PM local game, it's going to be at 6 AM game here. It won't be so bad if it's a 4 PM game. Other than that, Bob's losing money on the deal. Sucks to be him.
One hand washes the other. The NFL is not the real world Bob will be rewarded in some way.

What do you mean by "that's nice"?

That is why I called it the NFL's European PR cash grab. OBVIOUSLY, it's about the money. But I also believe the Krafts care about what season ticket holders think, the last couple weeks have made that obvious as well.

Yes, it was a year that we would’ve had 9 home games. I don’t like it because I was looking forward to going to nine games like two seasons ago.

So, is this a punishment for something we don't know about? Three years in a row with 9 road games?

Players should refuse it.

3 Euros gets ya on game day

While Krafty charges $5 for a Solo cup of Gillette tap water

In Germany the water is still $4/5 (pretty much everywhere because they solely deal bottled water, no tap) but the beer is cheaper. Therefore it's really difficult to stay hydrated

2021 we had 9 home games. 2022 we had 8 home games. This coming season we should have went back to 9 home games but are going to lose one going to Germany. But I don’t like losing a home game playing in a different country

This sucks for season ticket holders. Especially considering it's the Chief. This sucks for the team. Especially considering it's the Chiefs.
