Why defensive rankings are overrated.

Defense gives up a FG in under 13 seconds starting from the 20. Ridiculous.

Buffalo had done a solid job all night against Machines outside of the one Hill TD. Then they go ultra conservative. There had to be some kind of middle ground there instead of just giving them free yards.

Maybe. It may be pure Patriots glasses but I see the Patriots rising to the top again.
The AFC road to the SB will run through Foxboro soon again.

This largely depends on Mac's development. Even if he turns out great it's likely we are years away from rising to the top ahead of KC and the Bills, IMO.
