Most likely playoff matchups (Bills v Pats grudge match)

so the Bills will get a playoff win, and then get bounced by either, the Colts, Bengals, Chiefs or Titans

I still think the Pats have a better than decent shot in a rematch even up in Buffalo. The Pats need to change their game plan and pressure Allen and commit to the run like they didn't in this game. If they do that, I still think they match up well against the Bills.

The problem yesterday was the Pats played the game the way Buffalo wanted them to, not the best way for them to win.

How do you know that Buffalo wont lose to Atlanta?

Hell, there is always a chance either the Jets or Falcons beat them. The Bills did lose to the Jaguars. And coming off a big win like this, they could be in for a let down.

Of course, I wouldn't bet on it.

This is just the math. Anything could happen, but as of right now this is what the percentages are.

On the same theme, how do we know that Patriots wont lose to Miami ?

The way this year is going, I wouldn't be shocked if either team won the division or lost their final two games and were out of the playoffs all together.

The season did not end yesterday.

Nobody knows how this plays out.

Looks like loss in Miami today, but the Pats are 6 W - 1 L on the road.

On the ESPN machine yeah most of the paths point to a game 3 in Buffalo between these teams. Should be interesting to see what happens.

The Bengals are gonna beat the Chiefs next week and that’ll be the end of this scenario because the Bills will drop to the 4 seed.

Also the Bills are at home against the Falcons and Jets which basically by default is gonna help them avoid some letdown against a crap team. They’re 14 point favorites btw.

But yeah any given Sunday.

In Buffalo the Patriots have very little chance to win if they implement the same type of game plan...I said it a million times, and apparently this is a thread-ban worthy thought crime - the Patriots cannot win counting on a rookie quarterback to mount 3-4 12+ touchdown drives and make zero mistakes. the way Skippy is calling these games makes room for very little error. vs good teams NOT in inclement weather it seems the Patriots must score on every possession, esp against buffalo. Let's not forget the Patriots have allowed 38 and 33 points the last 2 games they've played them NOT in inclement weather...what are the prospects of Skippy's offense putting up 30+ on the road?

Would be a good one. Our defense would need to do better but credit where its due as well Allen did play incredible yesterday. Especially on 3rd downs and a few 4th downs. Those were the difference in the game, hopefully we could find some answers there.

One and done.

Patriots do not have the WRs or TEs to match the opponents they will be facing in the playoffs....

Mac Jones has no "blanket" he can rely on.

On any Sunday. Lake effect in January could make it interesting.
