Is anyone still worried about the Bills?

Bad weather games have historically seemed to favor the modified Erhardt-Perkins system the Pats run. Usually, in snow games, the precise route running required favors the receivers, but who knows? It worked really well in crazy games like the thumping the Pats laid on the Titans in 2009 and the Bears in 2010. It's not TFB commanding the offense, so it will likely look different.

I think it'll be a good game...probably low scoring for the first three quarters. If the Pats are going to win, it'll start to be apparent by midway through the third quarter.

My gut says the Pats edge one out here

True but so were the 2001 Rams. And they came on like gangbusters at the end.
Bills still have a lot of talent on both sides of the ball. Dont be arrogant.
The Patriots brutalised the Rams in the Super Bowl making your choice of example strange. Also, Breida/Singletary ain't Marshall Faulk. Also, you'll notice I used some key terms about perception in my post.

Brutalized? The Rams had 26 first downs (to the Patriots 15) and over 420 yards of offense (to the Patriots 267).

Remind me of the score again.

Looking at the Colts game.

Running is left or right, mostly. Up the gut is not as much.

Exactly. They were physically beaten, and on the scoreboard, two very related things.
We beat the crap out of them. Warner was under constant pressure. They turned the ball over 3 times. We had a defensive TD and an offensive TD and a FG. They had single FG going into late in the 3rd qtr.

I agree we were outplayed the latter 1/2 of the 3rd qtr and a good chunk of the 4th but the whole game? No.

We were outplayed in the reg season game but not the SB. Good grief.

How will Jamie Collins be used in the game.

Assuming he plays?

Yeah what lost them the game was the Ty Law INT.

Rams outplayed the Pats that day, but the pick-6 was the game changer.

Rams couldn't even get into the red zone until late the 4th quarter.

Not strange at all. Similar situation to this game. Yes Pats brutalized rams for 3 qtrs but in the 4th qtr rams came storming back and made it very close. Its like playing kc when theyre clicking. Its high- powered offense that can score quickly.
As for the perception, I think its also the reality. Pats have proven week after week to be tough and physical. Bills have not shown that. And I agree that this usually favors the physical team.
All Im saying is the game is in Buffalo- thats huge. And they're still capable of putting up points. Theyre favored. Im not betting this game. Its going to be close.

You obviously didnt watch the game.
Patriots dominated that game for 3 qtrs.
Rams offense caught fire finally in the 4th qtr. But then the Patriots made the big pressure plays when it mattered to win the game.
The Patriots were the tougher and more physical team and that was the difference.

Based on what? Yards?

We thoroughly outplayed the Lambs for all but 10 minutes of the 4th quarter.

Yards, First Downs, Completions, Sacks, 3rd Down Conversions, Time Of Possesion…

The Rams literally owned every stat there is except for turnovers.

That’s what changed the game.

Have you all forgotten since it’s been almost 20 years? lol

Or maybe you all convinced yourself of this over time? Oofta.

No you didn’t beat the crap out of them.

They beat you in literally every statistic except for turnovers (which is obviously big).

Rams we’re in Patriots territory 3 times in the first quarter alone. They missed a field goal too.
