IIRC, they did have like the #5 scoring defense in the NCAA the year they took McCourty.

We probably need to wait for Schiano's recruits, because that was a pretty sad football team when he was re-hired. White is really the one exception, a 2020 transfer who spent 2017-2018 with Schiano at Ohio State and wasn't part of the 2018-2019 Rutgers teams that went 0-18 in conference play.
