The floor is 180 mil. If the actual cap space is 200 mil, pats will have 83 mil.

Currently, with the floor at 180 mil, we have 63 mil in cap space.

If it goes to $200M that may actually be a disadvantage for the Pats because it bails a good number of teams out.

I doubt it’s 200M. The cap is going down. I’m hoping it’s 185 million around there gives us some more cap space.

Most think it will stay at $180 but given they raised the floor to $180 maybe it gets to $185.

This link assumes a 185M cap space. Still half of the league would be over. So, f it goes to 200....10 or so teams would be over....

It is still an advantage for the Pats no matter what.
